Add a Voice to Jumping

Not sure if anyone noticed but in the 3.2 trailer there's a segment in PVP where jumps are voiced. This made me wonder why the current game doesn't have voices for jumps and they actually sound very immersive and nice. It gives me a different perspective of characters and I think devs should add this as a small item to their checklist in the future. It feels weird having a silent character.

no, please. I am already tormented by the sound that my character makes as a bard (to a lesser extent melee) I can't imagine how it'll be like if my character grunts every time I jump ... I'll certainly jump less or mute it.

Well I'm sure like they always do, there will be an option to mute it. And if you don't like the sound why not just mute voice altogether?

I'm sorry but I will disagree OP! There is that one high pitched voice when attacking that makes me.... mute... voices for a reason.

because then theyd have to make a voice for every voice type of every race of every gender
im sure the voices shown in that video were just to add atmosphere/for the hype train

I'd be okay with that. As it is, this game doesn't have very much ambient voicework. As long as you had the option to mute obnoxious players, more voicework would be a good thing.

I would rather they not give us jumping voices but DID let us preview attack voices in character creation

My voice is great, so I will agree to such an idea.

I like this idea, with options to turn it off (especially that of other players). Perhaps it will lead to less hyper jumping crazy people... ;)

There's already obnoxious ability spam (looking at you derpgoons out there) in towns and cities, last thing I want to hear is the annoying squeal of someone's character every time they jump.

I definetly like it, as long as there's an option to turn off own and others' voices, preferable separatly.

Only if lalafells make Yoshi jumping noises.

I'd like this, in fact I wish there was more voices from our character. Some murmur so little.

Or at least a "snap" sound effect when falling from a great height.

For the love of the Twelve no. It's bad enough with the horrendous giggling & Navi-like "hey". Having jumping people making noises too will really make cities unbearable.

Maybe when jumping off something twice your height or more, not for regular jumps.

There is a noise. It's not a huge noise like in some other games, but it's there. People commented on how they liked how it sounded when making the jump in Labyrinth on the way to the bomb mini-boss.

I do have to agree with the sentiment for no. "Hup, hup, hup, hup..." would get old very fast. Especially when you're trying to do the Sigfhtseeing. And it'd be rather pointless given there's no wind-up on jumping. You press the button, you jump.

Not sure what everyone's problem with voices are in this game in which all you do is listen to them doing just about everything. I wouldn't mind it. Immersion is always welcome in my book.

Completely agree, especially with the amount of people who bunny hop.
