Heyho! Thought I'd make one of these. Here we post our opinions on the story, battles, and aesthetics of the new Alexander Midas! Please keep it civilized, people might have opinions that aren't the same as yours!
Anyhow, here's what I feel about Midas:
The Story definitely took an interesting turn! I can't help but feel there is something deeper that we're missing... Something that we don't quite know yet. The official lyrics that were recently revealed to us of Alexanders Boss Theme, "Locus", has alot of interesting stuff in it.
The fights were really fun! I personally love going Gorilla and punching stuff :p
A6 felt very unique and nice, I liked the Gauntlet style of fighting.
A7 Was an interesting fight, the whole cage thing was neat. My personal favorite moment of that fight is running from 2 giant balls while trying to keep track of the cat!
A8 was somewhat dry for the first half, Onslaughter himself was... Well, like Manipulator, not the best fight. However when the second phase kicked in with the music, it was AWESOME! I couldn't stop smiling :D
Needless to say, Alex Midas looks beautiful, the battles were great, and I feel like this is definitely a great direction the dev team is going!

I loved a5-8 quite a bit.
I'd be more specific but meh.
And i agree a8 had me smiling when the big guy came out and the theme changes to that jazztastic thing, I looove it. -

I love all the fights of this patch (especially sephirot). They really put on their big boy pants while designing these fights.
As far as Midas goes, A8 is the most chaotic fight of the 4 and i love it -

I have to agree. I've only attempted A5 in DF, and while we didn't clear it, this is the exact thing I was looking for. A challenge. Going to go in with the FC next week so we can talk and learn what is happening, but I like the fact that it's not a faceroll like A1 was.

I've only done A5 so far (not even cleared but attempted several times and failed horribly still). I don't know what the devs were thinking on A5. I find the whole thing stupid and it's just downright dumb. Wanna smack someone with a frying pan how frustrating it is. I'm not asking for face roll contact, but jeez. A5 needs to be scraped and redesigned.
This is just my opinion and we can agree to disagree.
