Except the window never changes. It's always the same ppls prime time.
How about rotating it between 6-2 then 7-3 8-4 next time -

To be fair, the patches are usually followed by more hours of downtime due to server crashes etc. For me, maintenance always happen while I am at work, so it should be pretty ideal for me - except I often find I can't play when I get home anyway, due to said crashes. I still don't find that much of a problem. It's one evening without FFXIV, and really, I can handle that. All the more stuff to check out the next day, I haven't lost anything.

It'll always hit someone's prime time. If they moves it to later on, they'd start it when I'm waking up. Then I'd demand the same thing and we just throw the potato around until eventually it's back into your hands.
Sorry it hits your time. They need to fix something. They're giving people the ahead of time warning instead of just tearing your whole thing apart. -

I've been there before. Made threads before. SE will continue to do Maintainence during the same exact time, everytime. We second shifters get screwed hard. I'm thankful I had off of work on Tuesday. Otherwise I would still not have completed the MSQ with all these emergency maintainence.
And to everyone who says "Better to get it fixed..." "Someone's prime time..." have not experienced what it is like to come home after a long day of work and realize that you cannot play until the following night after yet another day of work. If you say "go outside" you are on the wrong forums :P -
