Got DC'd from the game on teleport loading screen?

PS4 user here, me and my missus got kicked out of our games when we tried to teleport and naturally we can't log back on now given the log in rush.


Has this happened to anyone else?

Happened to me and 1-2 others of my group. Patch day. \o/

(took me about 10 mins to be logged out from the game)

Yup. Well, kind of. I didn't teleport, I tried to zone in to Idyllshire and the loading screen took a while then I got kicked from the game. Logged back in only to find a 750 person queue, which is no way near as bad as other I'm sure. Zodiark isn't the biggest server out there.

Tried to change zone by walking, got kicked during loading screen.

Here, me, I got it while accessing a cutscene.
Apparently there's a problem with the servers used to change instances and log in, due to the overflow in duty finder. There will be maintenance.

all my guild members on ts have been kicked off moogle. massive cue, and when get in server connection lost every time.

Patch day usual stuff, everything blows up. I guess the DF server is down and people got stuck in limbo while teleporting.

Hampsters need the patch day breakfast food upgrade to cope with all the people :p

Got "Server lost connection" upon teleporting to Idyllshire. Must be the same problem as http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...a719fd547b7289
Passed first queue of 546, then lost connection again. Now queue is 1499...

Edit: Do not recall having any problems on other big patches.

Same here. Kinda expected it since the game kicked me out of DF every 30 seconds while trying to find people for the new story dungeon

Ok so I quickly got to the end of my queue, it logged me back in only to promptly re-disconnect me on the loading screen. Now I can't even access the data center.

edit: re-accessed data center. now 1000+ in queue. :|
I only wanted to hand my quests in. >_<

Yupp...same here, someone feed those hamsters.....

This happened a little over 3 hours ago for JP servers. It was quite worrisome thinking I made a bad tp. :/

It seems to have crept up to the EN servers now.

Yup, used teleport from Azys Lla and lost connection, waited through 900 people in queue and upon loading in looking at the city state art lost it again... now the queue is 1900+ and the inevitable next time will increase it more.

Exact same issue here! Was teleporting into Mor Dhona...

I had JUST managed to get what I needed to progress on the master book business for my armorer.
I'll be pretty frustrated, and miserable, if my inventory of that session was lost or something. :(

This has just happened to me after playing for 20 minutes....managed to log back in and then had yet another error and got booted out again. Frustrating indeed.

Reporting from Odin, was leaving an MSQ duty aaaaand booted. The queue is 2000+ atm XD

Odin representative here, i can confirm servers went down, i repeat servers down!

Some on cerby... with a 1.7k queue...

1.500 queue later.. loading screen.. and another "Connection lost", woo.

Think I'll wait a bit.. needed an break anyways.

Same thing happning on Cerberus.

Exit Antitower => DC in loadingscreen => Try to login, DC => Try to login again DC => Data center dead

Happened to my partner when teleporting from Azyz Lla to the Gold Saucer. She was stuck in a server queue of over 1000, but then got 2002 error'd. Now at the back of a 1723 server queue :|

Meanwhile I'm in Azyz Lla, too afraid to teleport anywhere XD

Yah, got a dc. The queue was about 400. Finally logged in and boom, another dc. Queue about 1300 .__________.

€: Just got anotehr dc, before I even saw something from the game. And queue up to 1900 now T_T

Looks to be so long as ya don't leave the area ya in ya fine. I'm staying in Mor'dhona and seem to be ok.

I've been online for like 5 minutes, but spent a good 20 min in 2 queues so far. Kinda frustrating, especially since I can't even use the time to talk about how great/bad the new patch is with others yet because I had no chance to play any of it yet xD

This happened to me aswell now. Was leaving Sephirot and lost connection.

Maintenance from 18:00-19:00 GMT.

aaaand disconnected again. I think I'll give up for now.

I've just heard from a friend that there will be a maintenance.

One would hope they would update EU lodestone first, since it's EU servers that are going on maintenance and all... Keep updating and nothing there >.<

Got that message right as I was zoning to Isghard and got an error. So servers are going to be down for a while it seems til they fix this problem.

Saw the message just when i was completing carcabrina fight. done it but when i tried to exit the dungeon got disconnected hope it will not fuck up the quest :/

Should be okay I think the quest step completes when the boss dies.

Was just in A5 starting new Alexander normal quest and somebody wimped out after a couple of wipes while we were figuring out the mechanics and left then others left so ended up dropping then got DC. They should have just stayed and worked on it since we were unknowingly trapped XD

I got disconnected when I tried to leave the inn. I was able to be logged on long enough to change to one of the new hairstyles though. It looks good, so that's always something, lol! (edit: You can't see it on my avatar here yet so you'll have to take my word for it.)
Hopefully it'll be sorted out after a few hours or something. Very excited to experience all the new awesome stuff.
