New gathering locations and items

[3.0] New items have been added to gathering points.
Miner
Lumythrite Ore / Lumythrite Sand / Smithsonite Ore / Beastkin Horn

Botanist
Frost Cotton Boll / Whitefrost Cotton Boll / Camphorwood Log / Camphorwood Branch / Old-growth Camphorwood Log

[3.0] New gathering locations have been added.

Could these be 3-Star items? I guess we'll see.

I'd imagine they will be, there's a very slim chance they could be regular lvl60 nodes in Azys Lla (as it has none) but with high gathering & perception requirements. That would be interesting as much of the end game stuff is on timed nodes.

If these are the mats used to make the new i220 gear, they'd need to be 3-star...or 2-star using 3-star recipes. I suspect the melded HQ i220 gear will rival lore gear based on the producer comments

either the new gathering points aren't getting added until Thursday, or the new mining Legendaries do not spawn at either 5am or 7am.

Forgot the zone but i think these should be in your gathering log......got kicked from game and in queue, couldn't get you the answer

Do you mean Lumythrite Sand? I don't see Ore on my gathering log. Arrived in Churning Mists at 3pm, not there - back to the old once-per-hour nodes?

EDIT: Switched to BTN and there is something up that expires at 4pm, couldn't make it in time. NW corner.

isnt that ore is folklore thing? its appear on my folklore list.... for lumi ore...

3am - Lumythrite Ore - Slot 2 - Sothton Walls are of Churning Mists
1pm - Frost Cotton Boll - Slot 4 - Hemlock Area of CWH
3pm - Old-Growth Camphorwood Log - Slot 6 - Weston Waters area of Churning Mists

they require 720 gathering and 740 perception
didn't see if that was mentioned

Yes they are folklore nodes, and are listed under the gathering log that way as well.

Old-growth camphorwood log does, so I guess the others do as well.

So these don't require more stats than gathering from folklore nodes prior to the update? If so that will be awesome! I just can't remember my gatherer stats, but was able to gather from folklore nodes and get hq with no food, and only one hit to open up.

Weren't the old nodes 600/645? The new ones are 720/740

Oh damn, guess I do have to finally get the scrip gathering gear and crafted blue crafter gear...

Yea I'm on 760/751/650 with full blue scrip and full i170, with fully melded rings and belt and Perc Iv x2, Gat IV x2 and GP IV on OH so you're gonna have to invest some time/money.

Yeah,was holding off until we knew what kind of gathering gear upgrades we were getting.
