Regarding the new gear set.

So... if I'm understanding the prelim patch notes correctly, Lore Gear are i230 upgraded to i240 while Midas NM are 245? That's a pretty huge jump from i210.

Midas NM were like 220 i think?
Midas HM are 240 for armor, 245 for weapons
Lore gear is 230 for the "weathered' or whatever call it and 240 for upgraded....etc

We still don't know the ilvl of the crafted sets...maybe 215? Anything less than 210 would probably make them as unworthwhile as the previous battlecraft crafted armors were... but interviews promised that we'd want to make them.... maybe for spiritbonding? who knows atm...

Ah, ty, I kind of missed that.

What about jobs other than tank though? 220 seems like maybe I can dust off my crafting equipment and farm some mats... not bad I guess? It's nice when they make crafting and gathering a bit more useful.

I'm pretty sure all of the new i220 gear except for the Prototype Midan gear and Sepirot weapons are crafted.

lore gear is 230 ,upgradeable to 240 (from Midas Savage)

midas savage weapons are 245

and looks like dungeon drops are 195 dravanian sets

Yes, it's confirmed through the savage books being used to buy them again, they'll drop in the turns also.

I'm slightly worried about the word "Eikon" appearing in all of the new crafting gear. I really hope we don't have to farm the hell out of EX primals for a chance at a drop. I was looking forward to crafting gear being somewhat worthwhile as a way to gear up other classes without waiting months to cap your main class out in tomestone/raid gear before moving on to other classes.

I wonder what they will with diadem this time would be funny if they put iLv240 gear in there

the midas gear is 220
the crafted gear which is high mythrite and eikon(probably just a neat name for stuff made from new gathered mats) is 220 but can also be HQ and of course can be penta-melded meaning the 220 is deceptively low especially considering tier 4 materia will be super easy to get

looks like sephirot weapons are 220, probably to match the midas set. he's supposed to be an easier to handle eidelon than current HW trials
Kind of just a best you can get while saving for lore weapon or for alt jobs sort of deal it seems like

the tome of lore gear is 230 upgraded to 240 and includes a weapon, upgrade items start dropping from savage but will also be added to the next 24 man as usual.
the lore weapons require a special token your limited to 1 per week, probably need 3 or 4 to make one i would bet

savage is 240 with a 245 weapon

anima upgrade is currently non-existent but 240 is the safe bet
