Dyeable Race gear? They DID IT!

Liking everything in this video..

I'm happy about the number of new crafted gear sets shown off, not the least of which is dyeable race starter gear. The dragoon fighting against the training dummy also performed some sort of new backflip emote? And The Feast's arena seems fascinating and much larger than I would have expected. Some neat surprises in this trailer, I'm looking forward to 3.2 all the more now.

My god! That doll is freaky as hell...

And Power Rangers! lol

I was just about to point that out. ;)

Story wise.... SE seems to be keeping things very close to their chests:

Aymeric waxing lyrical again, a scene with Matoya chastising the Scions about whether they have what it takes to end the Dragonsong War for good, some ambiguous scenes with Alphinaud looking at mugs of hot chocolate and Thancred beating up Atrioel, and.... a scene with the Warrior of Light being apparently directly powered up further by Hydaelyn... and yet no scenes of Minfilia shown at all. Ugghhh so many more questions that I can't bear to wait to find out the answers to!

Why must you taunt and tease us so SE?! :p

And yeah, Voltron parody for Alexander Midas and FFIV's Calcobrina in the Antitower... SE truly knows their audience. :D

Looks like Torrent gear for Aiming jobs as well. It was very hard to spot in the Lost City part. DEX jobs seem to run similar on gear lately.

Midan Voltron. . . I can't wait. Also I noticed some floor level shifting in one of the Midan battles. Interesting.

Lastly, dyeable High Allagan AND Allagan! Thank you! Dyeable race gear is awesome, BUT! Is it still race locked? (Most likely yes, but one can dream)

I wanna put out that In the Lost city of Amdapor Hard you can see DRK and MNK side by side and their primal armor look very similar so i guess tank primal is also ifrit...

I noticed this too. It's a bummer tanks and monks won't have unique looks, but I was worried we tanks would be stuck with Titan and I had no hope that Titan armor was gonna look good.

Wow that forum poster was right about the dolls in the anti tower, well done him.

I hope we can wear the dyeable race gear...I would love to wear the miqo'te skirt and the elezen shorts on my au ra.

Just noticed the new hairstyles look like the hairstyles of a few Class Zero members from Final Fantasy Type-0. I guess that's the closest we'll get to a crossover with that game, unless its just a coincidence.

I checked again but it still looked like the Allagan gear was still worn by the original jobs (and remember MNK and NIN shared the Allagan/High Allagan gear)

They really upped the ante with the aesthetic for Alex, I'm very happy with that! Everything looks super cool, and friggin Voltron and dat music looks like a fight to look forward to!

Not to mention the glam game is gonna get real with all these additions, definitely hyped. Not to mention drill curls! LMAO

Pretty disappointing if monks and tanks are wearing the same thing. >_> That doesn't even make sense...

Is anyone able to get some decent shots of the DRK in the lost city segment? The armour definitely does not look like titan, it even has horns, but it is also much darker than the monk version and maintains the longcoat theme tanks often have. I also noticed the horns seem to be rather metallic and straight edged when compared to ifrits curved horns.

If i HAD to take a guess, i would have said it was ultima weapon themed, but that is just the impression i get from looking at the video currently.

I'm am equally looking forward to and dreading the calcabrina fight.

i was expecting WAY LESS but the whole trailer put my hype to the max , the new trial looks awesome , Midas looks lots of fun! , the new 2 dungeons are cool....and MSQ finally picking up after 3.0....

Which makes no mention of it being class-free and that there will be job-specific and gender-specific stuff..... :(

Now I know that is not what I read in the first thread or else I wouldn't have gotten excited. Disappointed now.
