So, Hildibrand is confirmed. Midas is looking pretty cool. Primal gear looks sweet.

The Vivi looks like it's lying on the ground so I don't think it's a minion but it's something related to the Hildibrand quest. We have Antitower dealing with Mammets and now Hildibrand? Should be interesting.

Midan gear is looking sexy. Not sure how I feel about Eikonic gear yet.

I'm assuming Fending = Titan or Ravanna, Healing = Bismarck, and Aiming = Ramuh?

That caster and healer gear...

Very odd choices here for Primal armor. I would have went with:

Fending - Titan
Maiming - Ifrit
Striking - Shiva
Aiming - Garuda
Scouting - Levithan
Casting - Ramuh
Healing - Bismark

I don't know I like the look of the Primal caster gear but.... the only picture i have seen of it is on a female character, I fear what it will look like on a male

The new midas set is sweet except.. Those details in jute ò.ò

Cool preview, buts I wish it were more complete. There's no tanking Lore set shown or any sort of Brd/Mch gear between Lore or Midas. I'm anxious to see that armor as Paladin and Machinist are my main jobs.

Those giant collars on the Midas gear are atrocious. Oh well. One less set to worry about collecting.

Surprised healers didn't get Garuda or Shiva... I'm worried what that set will look like now, too.

Finally we have some decent looking raid gear again.

I don't like that casters are Shiva. The color scheme is off from what we usually get and the pose there looks more like a WHM than a BLM. The shoes are nice tho. I really like the Midas gear for Casters so at least I'll have that.

Hildibrand is zzzZZZ.

All the gear looks horrible.

Midas looks literally the same as Gordias. Yeah, there's a city.. landscape.. thing but you can also see what we'll be fighting on, which is just a small square. So... I guess it'll be nice looking around the arena at all the stuff we can't interact with.

Bosses are alright, hard to tell if they're really interesting until I see 'em in game.

If I remember correctly, they talked about allowing us see if party members are above or below us. I guess this is the change of display for the coordinates under the compass (Stone, Sky, Sea screenshot with the DRG), where now the Z-coordinate is given and all three are up to one digit after the decimal dot.

I'm scared to find out what the whm gear will look like for primal...

Ah looking at the screenshots, also confirmed the Midas floor names:
Fist of the Son
Cuff of the Son
Arm of the Son
Burden of the Son

I thought the Sea Stone Sky stuff was supposed to have mechanics as well, so it tests your ability to do the DPS while also avoiding aoes - but the screenshots don't give that impression.

I love the Caster gear. I can't wait to start putting tomes towards that purchase. Looks so elegant. Weapon looks pretty awesome too. I wonder what ilevel this gear will be.

Huh, I really figured BRD/MCH were going to be Garuda themed. That makes me wonder which primal they'll be getting now. I wish NIN hadn't gotten stuck with Leviathan, though...but I also know none of the primals fit NIN all that well (other than perhaps Garuda) and none of the other classes really have any thematic tie to Leviathan, so whoever got Leviathan probably would have been miffed.

I'm a huge fan of the Midas set, especially the caster/healers. The large collar is reminiscent of the BLM's AF1 and it feels like a better successor to that compared to what they got with their actual AF2.

Vivi's a mammet. fitting :/

How do will get this armor? By clearing Primals? And does Primal with drop a specific job gear?

Its the tomestone gear, so exactly like esoteric gear (dungeons, roulettes etc.)

Looks like somebody asked Capcom how to design armor. lol

Oh!!! thank you sweet merciful Yoshi-P and Devs for giving me Shiva as caster!!! Shiva is my favorite and Ice usually has always fit caster/INT stat and so forth, Oh I'm sooo excited!!!! YaY!

After you upgrade it you can dye it whatever color. Personally I'm tired of black although I'm looking forward to see what the healer gear looks like. :)

Sweet Jesus, I'm in love with the Midas gear! Tank, Nin and Ast look so awesome, me. want. now.

Want that Shiva gear... and that Dragoon set is sexy too! Now I wanna see what my PLD and healing gear looks like Primal wise. I like the other set too - very impressed with it and I love the healers look! :D

Disappointed that the caster set is Shiva...looks like healer gear, seriously.

Guessing that heals will get Bismarck, and it will be bulky, gold-trimmed and atrocious. At least the Midas set looks alright.

Im dissapointed by the looks of honestly all gearsets shown sadly... Guess glamour is not going to be good this patch, hope dungeons bring something better.

Don't understand your post.

You're both being offensive to people and providing 0 substance to the discussion. How can you know if you will like its appearance if you haven't seen it. Why is someone else disliking an appearance of something mean they are jaded? Why does someone being jaded by the development team mean they would not be fun at a party?

My predictions for the Eikonic gear:

Tank will be Titan
Range will be Ramuh
and Healer will be Moggle Mog.

maybe ramuh for ranged , and king mog for healers :p....who knows

They showed what looks like the Midas Aiming set as a printout during the last Live Letter. It looks like a color swap of the Scouting (Ninja) gear, with what I assume is a black bib like the caster top and white/gray pants.

Yes, the "caster" Shiva gear looks like healer gear, especially by the fact the Au Ra is posed in almost a caring, kind pose.
