Some adjustments/new glamours that need to happen.

I've got my eye on 3 pieces of equipment here:

Please make Succubus Horns dyeable. It would be great if Auri characters could make these match their existing horns.

Please introduce an Emperor's New Shield for those characters who may like playing PLD, but want the sword/no shield look.

Please give us the body armor that Lady Almandine wears. We've got the sword, horns, and claws. Let us complete the look. This can be added to Gold Saucer items

Having the succubus wings + tail would be super cool

nah, what we really need is large shields like tower shields etc, I don't wanna wait for a class which only uses big shields.

They've outright said no invisible shields for PLD.

Yes it would but for races with current tails it would not be so cool if its done the way the raindeer suit is done where you have two tails like some sort of mutation happened but not the cool kind of two tails. Perhaps the way the DRG eso gear provides a tail.

Thanks for posting that Pomelo. I guess the horn issue is in Yoshi-P's "please look forward to it" outbox meaning anytime from next patch to 10 years from now. lol

As far as the shield, that's unfortunate. They did it to allow monk to barefist.

I think the wings and tail is a cool idea, but might be difficult to implement to look good on all races. At least doing the slutty one-piece body should be manageable. It could become the new "uniform" for miqote females in Idyllshire. lol

Yeah it was actually at the same time they confirmed they'd eventually add in the invi-fists for monk that they confirmed they have no plans for a shield.

The biggest issue for a shield-less paladin is that a number of their moves utilize the shield, namely shield lob and shield swipe, as well as their auto parry/block animation. Removing monk weapons isn't a huge deal because everything they do can be done with only their fists, and nothing depends on the weapon to be used. For a pally, blocking without a shield would probably hurt quite a bit and shield lob wouldn't even be possible.

keep seeing the shield-less PLD thing mentioned and it makes no sense. can't believe people actually want this lol

I'd love if there's a version of the Succubus horns that didn't have the circlet or atleast make it /visor

Also, dyeable

I've just been glamouring a buckler because it's the smallest shield. I'd like to look more like an agile fighter in light armor carrying around a scimitar but I end up looking like a Dark Souls dex build fishing for parries with the offhand buckler.

I'm all for an invisible shield...as long as it removes Shield Bash, Shield Swipe, Shield Lob, Bulwark....you know, abilities that actually need a shield?

You can pick up the Dark Divinity set from Urth's Fount.
There's even a robe for the mages! Comes with a sweet eyepatch.

A note from the Monks who got Emperor's Fists: you'll look like you've got a cast on under your left sleeve, or at least a broken, very stiff arm.

I meant the one we trades with Odin's mantle since you only cast once on the body piece too much trouble to cast multiple one separate pieces :P plus I prefer tank cuz I use it on my DRK which looks best in Odin's glamour

Completely invisible shields wouldn't work, since there are skills that require a shield model, but maybe SE will compromise with some smaller shields in the future? They gave us a couple of more understated Monk weapons in Heavensward (Baldr Fists, for example) before finally giving us the Emperor's New Fists, so hopefully they'll take into account that some people might not want to see much of their shield with future designs. A sword-using DPS class might be nice, too.

Amandine's outfit would fit nicely as a Gold Saucer reward, alongside her horns and sword, but it had better be unisex if they add it. We've had enough civil unrest over the gender-locking imbalance, and I think we're all sick of the forums blowing up about it every time they add new glamour gear, but I'm more than willing to start it up all over again if they make the problem even worse without taking a single step to fix it (as they've promised more than once).

Honestly I hope they'd go with the unisex option, though; Eorzea would be a brighter place with a few male Roegadyns in sexy leotards and succubus horns (dyed pink, naturally) in it.

I see no reason why the outfit couldn't be unisex. Think along the lines of lvl44 coliseum gear. One piece of gear that displays completely differently on males and females, but is equally skimpy for both. And if not a no shield....perhaps a shield that's more along the lines of a bracer?
