lionheart role called

how many lionheart are there

Even among my best friends there are a few Lionhearts. I used to use the name myself before XIV.

i seen alot lionheart myself i think people need get creative thinking going

Granted that is not counting the ones who use symbols or double letters also. I know I saw a "Squall' Lionheart" yesterday.

Idk about calling out players for having lionheart in their names and calling them uncreative. Isn't that sort of a d*#% move?

Eh it's not really a bad move I'd say. I know people look at my name and probably think the same and its the truth. It's not creative to copy a name you have seen in the games prior or anime. Havn't checked how many Naruto based names I've seen too.

Someone told me I need to be created with my name. I asked what was wrong with my name.

Conversation I had (I still have the screenshot on my PS4):

Him: "some people need to be a bit more creative"
Me: "...?"
Him: "y do u have the name of a fruit as yur last name."
Me: "Um, because it's my real name!"
Him: "dats dumb"

I know someone who named his character with that, but not for that reason.

It related to his family name or something.

I've not actually seen a lot of lionhearts, though. I do, however, see a lot of people with the bunny ears and the surname "Viera"

ikr it's like telling everyone with the name kirito or asuna sinon cloud etc. to change their names to something else...So what if people wanna name they're characters after a favorite anime/game character it's they're choice if i could count how many times i've seen a naruto based last name or bleach or any others and get paid for it i wouldn't need to take up gathering or crafting. Look focus on complaining about something more important to get SE's attention like the amount of gil sellers spaming ads or whatever

was a lionheart but prefer to stick to my real last name :)

most peoples toon names are inspired from somethin they like lol mine is a combination of 2 super heroes i liked growing up :3 spawnie = spawn the comicbook anti hero and lionheart = marvel superhero

I don't know... I like being the only Klamor around. I like it, because I've used this name for several years now and if people see it, they probably remember it from other games and it was actually me, not just hundreds or thousands of others using the same names repeatedly.

People can name their characters whatever the hell they want, and that's fine. I personally find it disgusting to see just the sheer number of players who are apparently obsessed with trying to be a Cloud or Squall, no matter how badly they have to butcher the name because there are a million others exactly like them... It's bad enough we've got all these people running around trying to look exactly like Minfillia in a game where she's an actual NPC within it.

I don't know. It's probably just me, but I hate seeing it.

Am I the only one who's noticed the title is 'role called' instead of 'roll call'? If you were calling people up on their role, surely it'd be a case of finding out if they were DPS, Tank or Healer. Also, less with the name-shaming. You pretty much insulted anyone who chose the name you were looking for in the second post you made in this thread. Bad form, Savagelf.

It's the Internet. We can't assume any given person has anything that would even resemble a base level of literacy, therefore we must look past the battles that one surely can't win. Squall, Skwall, Squell, and Squall' will all surely agree with me. I know they're out there, somewhere.

Suddenly his behavior throughout the entire game makes a lot more sense.

On a sidenote, if we take away all names used by all animes, mangas, cartoons, comic books, TV shows, books, mythologies and historical figures we are going to be left with a very, very, VERY small pool of names to choose from.

My desire wasn't to name shame but incourage more creative one my Character is name aribeth lightbringer. for example one make they name lionbane. this mean you slayed lion. example Nidhogg slayer should be Nidhogg's bane

pretty sure lightbringer is from game of thrones so you could of been more creative aswell *wink wink* XD

I don't see many Lionhearts on Odin mostly Pendragon, no idea where that comes from.

I don't see the problem with it, Lionheart basically drowns in the hundreds of Kiritos that run around on every server.

Also, since we are already at it... I've got told my characters name is nice, although it isn't anything special as well. Anne is my real first name and Lyehga is just one the game suggested to me. I thought it sounds nice and kinda "fits" into the world, if that makes sense... so I kept it.

I don't have anything against people that use the name of their favourite character or person, to them it's something special, something they have good memories with or just simply something they like/love. Making this thread and calling out on them to be more creative really is a dick move, in my opinion. Just completely unnecessary.

Pendragon is from king Arthur. His father was named Uther Pendragon.

I can understand why people pick names from the things that they like. I am far from immune myself. Einheria is a valkyrie from Bravely Default,
Chanoix is the last name of the elvaan "last dragoon "
from Final Fantasy XI.

I also have Chiyome Fujibayashi, my au ra ninja
Both are taken from historical names that are now used frequently
for shinobi characters. I have seen more Lockharts than Lionhearts honestly, if people want to connect their characters to previous Final Fantasy games they have the right, SE reuses names frequently. Even the people trying to reuse whole names aren't harming anyone so no one really has the right to call them out.

If it bothers you, or anyone else for that matter then perhaps the offended party should work that out because its kind of silly when one way or another all names are reused, they are all made of letters~ i could form hundreds of reused names by combining letters from the most unique names people come up with, how dare they spell their name with an a when there is an a in my name.

I've seen a Rinoa Lionheart running around, but so far that's the only one. The one surname I've seen more than any other is Targaryen. There is an infestation of Targaryens in here. I was wondering why that name was so damn popular, so I looked it up. Apparently, I'm one of the few who hasn't seen Game of Thrones yet.

I see lots of Lockhart and Highwinds on my server, no lionhearts though

I see a lot more Leonhart than Lionheart o_O

As far as these over used names go, i keep it to myself though sometimes i want to couge my eyes out (i'm looking at you Cloud X something)

Saryn = Sarin and storm is storm. It literally just means poison storm which sounded nice when i played summoner in the beta. I'm somewhat simple.

Everyone thinks mine is from Skyrim. I just go with it though because Skyrim was awesome.
