Not sure if this has been posted anywhere, I couldn't find it if it was. Does anyone know yet what the requirements to enter Alexander Midas Savage will be? iLevel required to enter and will we have to have cleared Alexander Gordias Savage 1-4?

There's not going to be an ilvl until it's put on the DF menu
I know something was said in the live letter saying you won't have to clear AS1-4, but just Midas normal. Ilvl will probably be recommended at i200 but I'm not sure on that.
Thanks guys. It's a relief I won't have to do Gordias Savage lol. Cheers! :D
If they required a completed 1 through 4 Alex. Goridias Salvage completion, the number of players in the next set would be this . . tiny.
Even it the requirement was to do the old savage first, weren't people complaining about dps checks in savage? That will be non existent with the new gear so people will have no excuse not the clear it (not to mention it's been cleared in 190 in china so having a weapon 30 ilvls higher in the new tier and not clearing basically means you had no chance). Unless of course people were lying and the difficulty was not the dps checks.
Rawr, so touchey about being called on your inopportune joke. No reason to resort to lowly insults, I did say it was my mistake, just didn't see a reason for one to bother with nonsensical satire as a response to a serious post. I thought it was obvious that random sarcasm would more than likely be misunderstood on a text forum?
Moving on.
Yeah I was thinking about this. If the dps required for Midas will be lower then Gordias doesn't that translate to it being easier and not requiring the same iLevels to beat as Gordias? If this is the case why would they even recommend a higher iLevel?
I understand historically the next raid has had a higher recommended iLevel but historically hasn't the next raid always been more difficult as well? If people can beat Gordias Savage with their current iLevels I'm thinking Midas will feel very easy, if not a joke.
I've not entered Savage a sine time, but A3S and A4S are even acknowlaged bu the developers as having their dammage requirement unreasonably high.
Skill isnt even what's lacking since Lucrezia, aka the first guild to clear second Coil and top 3 to clear final Coil, disbanded over the difficulty not being a skill gap, but actully needing higher numbers then even proper rotations and BiS gear could relyably produce.
A5s-8s could have simmilar difficulty levels to 3s and 4s and it be appropriate for Midas Savage while still being unreasonau for Gordias Savage.
They can apply roughly the same dps requirements for A5S+ as in A3S+, since the intendent ilvl is 20-30 lvls higher. Additionally they can require you to have more health.
=> higher intended ilvl in general
_________
Beside that, the intended ilvl for Thordan is higher than that of Bismark, but the dps check on Bismark is more strict (when attending on intended ilvl of 165(?)) than the Thordan one @195.
So.. There seems to be no problem with that.
I love how people say ! Oh thank god i don't have to clear A1s A4s in order to do the new end game raid
Like somehow in their world they gonna down the new endgame raid....but the fail the old one.

The reason I've never cleared Gordias Savage is because at the time of its release I was still leveling to 60 and then gearing up once I reached 60. By the time I was at a decent iLevel to even be able to attempt it the first waves of learning parties on my server were long gone and everyone was either looking for people with good knowledge of the fights and who had been inside up to a certain point or cleared it before. I did get into a learning party for AS1 recently and we made it up to the first add phase before people started to give up or had to go. The boss was actually dying a lot faster then I thought it would. Just the mechanics seemed to be the place we were having the most trouble, stacking resins correctly and such. I'm sure the new raid will still be difficult I was just saying for people who have already cleared the old one the new one may feel easy since it's difficulty dps wise won't be higher then Gordias Savage. As for me I'm hopeful because I know that if there is going to be something majorly screwing me over in the new raid it will more likely be mechanics then dps checks. I'm also happy that I won't have to clear Gordias Savage to get into Midas, not because of Gordias's difficulty but because of how hard it would be to find a party of people willing to go through it with a new person when everyone is going to be out doing Midas anyway and won't have any reason to do Gordias.
