Anything to help reduce the chance of Neverreap, I'd be okay with.
I'd love to have Research Facility added to 60 roulette. I really enjoyed the dungeon, and lots of my new FC mates are just getting to that point in the story and have huge queue times for it. Having it as an option in 60, or even Main Scenario would really help with queue times and give me a reason to experience this awesome dungeon more than once a month at most.
I loved Aetherochem. It was incredible and I've only run it the one time.
The reason why it's not in a roulette is because it's the "end-of-story" dungeon for 3.0, the lore equivalent of Castrum Meridianium. And vets running roulettes for tomes were ruining the experience for the first-time players.
It's sad really, because SE totally missed the problem and threw the baby out with the bathwater. The problem with CM was the amount of cutscenes in the instance. If they made it possible to fully enjoy the dungeon while simultaneously completing it in a reasonable amount of time, there would be no tension between those playing for the first time and those grinding tomes. But in order to keep the farmers out, they removed loot and excluded it from roulettes so there was absolutely zero incentive to run it again. They also made it a four-man, presumably because the problems with eight-man dungeons CM and Prae, but again, it wasn't having eight players that was the problem (although if you're going to make it impossible to queue for it, it was probably a good call). I actually liked having a long, large raid with eight people.
It easily has the BEST LEVEL DESIGN in the EXPACK. And nobody ever plays it. :(
On the flip side, it was totally cool running a dungeon with four people who had never set foot in it before.

Kaitlan essentially summed it up. It's nowhere near the levels of CM and Prae with cutscenes, but it's one of the heavier instances. Right now with a decent amount of people still running that dungeon and people still wanting to go back and do it, the wait times are tolerable, but one day, that is going to change. We'll need it in a roulette or *something* eventually, or else it'll reach wait times of what Cape Westwind used to be.
I'd rather see them use 3.2 to add that dungeon to the Story DR, actually. Give the DR a decent chunk of Esoterics (yes, the LOWER of the two tomestones) if 60+ to go with the Poetics the DR already provides.

It's so weird that this still isn't in at least main scenario roulette.
shouldnt Aetherochemical Research Facility be added to main story roulette? it has a lot of cutscenes and no treasure gear drops i think main story roulette would be better for this not level 60 rouellette

There are a lot of issues with this idea, the biggest of which is that if there is a 4man dungeon in MS roulette, it will continually fill faster than CM or Praetorium by virtue of needing half the required players to start. This would lead to a bottleneck occurring where new 50 players are in queue forever while nonstop aetherochemical facilities are filled and initiated around them
With how the devs try to keep so much older content relevant, it's astounding how arguably the best-designed 4 person dungeon in the expansion is only done once and never touched again. The only cutscene that's a bit long is the one that occurs right before the final boss fight, and I'm pretty sure it's still shorter than Shiva's HM trial cutscene, which people already watch. Maybe they could make it so you're locked in a barrier like they do at the start of a dungeon, until everyone finishes watching the cutscene before the last boss. Doing that could make them fit the dungeon in the lv 60 roulette without fear of another CM/Prae happening, and first-timers not getting the intended experience.
With it having no drops, Main Scenario would fit better. Maybe change it to 8 man and just make it scale? Seems to be the only feasible option here. That or add Fractal/Neverreap loot to it.

Given the amount of times I get Solemn Trinity on the guildhest roulette (the one guildhest, out of like... a dozen of them? that uses 8 players instead of 4), I feel like this probably wouldn't be as much of a problem as you thinkQuote:

I agree, it should definitely be added to roulettes.
They only need to make the algorithm to fill the groups around first-timers in the order they queued up. I'm pretty sure that's how it already works.
Besides, some people do MSR for the exp and would only be eligible for the level 50 dungeons. They would help fill prae and castrum.
