Addicted to Printscreen: How Many Screenshots do You Have?

I was just clearing out my screenshot folder, which just involves me moving the files into another folder, and discovered I have over 18k, as in 18,000, screenshots to date. All of these are from the few I took in 2.0 beta, when I started up again, until today; all of these screenshots documenting my questing, travels, random scenery, and glamouring.

My friend remarked that that was a lot. Maybe I have a slight problem... ^_^;; Though perhaps I'm not to only one, and maybe what I have isn't a lot. I have a lot from other games, but this is probably three or four times what I have and had (lost some), respectively, from GW2 and WoW combined.

So I wonder, how many do you have as of now since you started, be it 2.0 or 1,0?

I didn't get addicted to screenshotting a bunch of stuff until recently so only 500 or so lol. And I thought that was alot.. 18k wow.

around 50 thousands. I will have to check my screenshot folders.

just finished checking on them. it's 85,470 shots, 176 GB.

I usually take 30-40 shots when I get new glamour set.

I uh... may have a problem.

I just tried checking the size of my FFXIV screenshots folder.... and for ARR alone (not including my 1.0, ARR Alpha and Beta test screenshot folders), even after ten minutes of calculating somewhere around the 150gb region (and reaching about 170 000 images)... it still wasn't done, and I just gave up. So yeah... my obsessive compulsion to screencap every piece of dialogue, no matter how insignificant, or taking frame by frame screenshots of cutscenes... I think is starting to come back to bite me. :p

been playing since beta phase 3, have about 70 screenshots on my laptop from that, several hundred on my ps3, and 109 on ps4 (upgraded to ps4 on day 1 of it's availability)

About 4,500 in two folders (I move them to my HD from my SSD from time to time because it's only a 128 GB), about 6 GB.

Wow!

I have somewhere around 110,000 pictures totaling about 98GB and I thought that was a lot. You have me beat by a long shot.

500! On my memory stick, much more on the ps4 >.<

They really should increase Hard-Disk pricing again ^^

They need to make 1024 TB SSD sooner than later.

which i have organized per patch and another folder i call "sexy females" which has a few sub folders to it

I think that I have 350. I just take screenshots of midlanders hyureans that are my friends.

Your screen shot count quickly adds up when your trying to get up skirt pictures of random people.

I'll need to check the totals, but it's over 10GB. I store my screenshots on my 1TB platter drive rather than clog up my poor little 128 GB SSD.

I can go through over 100 photos in a single session - ENTM nights usually hit 400-500 these days.

My memory is all I need to relive any funny moments or good times.

However, I do take a lot when Im trying to demonstrate/post something for the suggestion section, like the countless housing improvements that are needed, or possible dye additions for glamour, or making a new sig...... but then I delete them as they serve no purpose. Oo

I have a lot. lol XD I'm very addicted to taking screenshots. A fun past time for me.

Sub folders are smart. I actually need to start organizing my screenshots, but I've gained another 200 already. >_>

As of posting, I have 1009. I didn't used to take them that often, but the addition of /grouppose has made doing so a lot more fun for me, and I've just started a blog about glamours, which are my favorite thing in the game (outside of Relics anyway), so I'll be taking a lot more form here on out.

I have just a wee bit above 3,800. But in my defense, I use the same tactic in game as I do in real life - spam pictures to ensure I get the shot I want, just forget to delete all the bads later on. X:

OMG this drives me CRAZY! ......just not crazy enough to clean ; ;

I thought I had a problem with somewhere around 5K (cleaned out a bunch of bad ones recently...)

I also had a lot of completely random videos at one point, but I've cleaned that out and try to keep them down (think I still have around 50 small clips and two dozen or so longer ones right now)

I've always used Fraps, but the files are HUGE. I like being able to take rapid screenshots. Any other suggestions?

Just checked. It's actually 20GB in 8,145 files. o_o

Mine are all native to the XIV client. I do use Fraps for video capture sometimes if I'm trying to catch a tricky pose. Then I just slow down the video until I get a frame I like. I delete all those afterward, though.

I have around 8000... I try to be careful how many I take because they take up a hell alot of space and for Ps4 you gotta watch it..

Ok so, it seems I was a 'little' off originally on my estimate. Turns out I have 26,081........... I should probably sort them or something--LOL

For rapid ones that's probably the best.
I just use the default, which is LB + Select on my controller. PrntSc when I'm closer to my keyboard. It's extra lazy and I love it.
