Any update on bunny ears for male characters?

It's been a long time since they said they would consider it, I hope they don't sweep this under the rug, it would be good to know if it's going to happen or not.

I need these ears for my catboy. And yes I'm being serious, bunny ears or riot.

i really hope they get around to doing it. i honestly don't see modifying bunny ears to fit on males taking up much dev time. a rep even said something like head gear and the gloves are easy to modify

I ended up glamour the reindeer horns for bandaid the urges of bunny ears :(

They need to work on this. They can try to make a new gear just for males. How many new gears they come out with events and they can't do the same for bunny ear just for men ./sigh

Would be nice to know if this is even still something they're thinking of adding (for real this time... )

Why not? The squeeky wheel gets the grease; if we don't have bunny ears for our male characters yet, we obviously havent squeeked about it enough.

It's an MMO, things will always be exclusive. Oh, how I wish people would stop crying over spilt milk.

That is easy to say when your character is the gender which gets preferential treatment.

Certain things may be exclusive, and that may not change, but what's the harm in asking? FFXIV is a product created to make the company money, which they will do by keeping their customers happy. How are they supposed to know what we want (and how much we want it) if we don't tell them? We know for a fact that they keep track of requests on the forums, and how much interest those requests generate, so as long as we're polite, asking for it again and again until it gets done is the best and most logical way to go about things.

We're not hurting you or getting in the way of your gameplay, so kindly move along, and next time this topic comes up (if there is a next time; maybe they'll give us our way finally and we won't have to go through this again!), do us all a favor and just ignore it.

There's always butthurt come only to say "don't start this thread again" and war while on female vanu vanu dance they keep crying out loud to make it change. Pssh get out already.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw this thread. The vanu dance has been the first real downer for female PCs.

Other then simply NOT wanting to, I don't see why the devs couldn't just take the ears and re-size them for the male heads. It wouldn't take anymore work then they have already done for other pieces of headgear both genders wear.

Even though I have a female avatar at the moment, I will be going back to my Duskwight boy eventually and would love it if he could wear the bunny ears too.

I am totally for exclusive items, but most MMOs will have a female AND male equivalent of items. Not saying they have to be identical pieces, but guys have no option for the bunny outfit at all.

Wouldn't them wanting to changing the look based on gender defeat the whole point of making them available for both genders?
Plus, if they did something like remove the crown aspect (which is the only feminine aspect of the item) from it for male-characters, there will be players with female-characters who want it too. That version might even be more popular because then it will look actual ears, when covered with hair the band.

I like the little crown, would suck if they removed it. I really dont understand whats so hard about making HEADGEAR unlocked for males. They got nothing to remodel there.
