Remove class requirements for wearing gear as glamour.

This will greatly help the economy a bit, and make glamour system amazing. Of course we can restrict some things.

The only restriction should be Disciples of War cannot wear gear from Disciples of Magic and so on. However everyone can use everything else.

Disciples of Magic can wear:
- All gear from disciples of magic.
- Level 1 to 45 disciple of war gear.
- All crafter's gear.

Disciples of War can wear:
- All gear from disciples of war.
- Level 1 to 45 disciple of magic gear.
- All crafter's gear.

While I understood the reasoning behind it, cus you dont want to see a Healer wearing a tanks armor in PvP (or similar as I recall) the fact that PvP just says your class would be enough to overlook it, beside I dunno about anyone else but I rarely am saying "Wow, I really love that armor" as I skip away casting aspected benefic on my AST. Plus I admit the Alchemist set is pretty damn sexy in my opinion and would go great as a Healer or even Machinst glamour.

That is why people can only wear the "generic" armor 1-45. Not the specialty sets. So they can still wear plate armor. Just not the really unique stuff.

However yes, PvP displays your class straight up. So not an issue there.

Only if they give the Arachne Culottes model to every class.

I would very like this because drg glove are plagued with ugly looking spikes or elbow guards and the ones that aren't are not dyeable.

Why just ask for 1-45? Imo, ALL gear except Artifact gear, should be wearable by every class/job. I'd love the High Allagan tanking set on my BLM for example.

Why would this bother anyone? If a healer wants to glamour tanky looking gear, they should be allowed to, I don't see the problem. It doesn't change the functionality of the armor itself, just the look. Only armors that should have a restriction are armors that are designed for a single class imo.

If anything, why not make all crafted gear glamour-able and keep tome and artifact gear exclusive to their respective roles?

I mean, the available crafted gear from 50-60 are were useable via a completely different role: MNKs being able to use Arachne Bolero. DPS wearing the i80(?) caster/healer gear. MNKs being able to have the darklight gloves for caster and healer.

No matter how you look at it, dps and tanks can and do eventually wear mage gear, but mages never (or very very rarely) get to wear a dps gear

gear class requirement in the final fantasy universe is just plain silly. I believe as long as you have the class leveled to wear the gear it should be cross class glamor able....

If by this you mean give the female version to males I'm all for it! Currently the male version is BEYOND LAME.

no, keep class unique gear locked away on that class, there are enough glamour items, if you really want that fancy weaver hat, you have to level weaver to 60 and use it when you play as a weaver.

one thing I want is the ability to preview gender specific gear by using randomly generated body or something like that.

I see enough people glamouring the ilevel 145 tank gear (dyed gold because of course it is), that I'd rather not see every dragoon, monk, bard, and ninja wearing it too.

It's fine to have looks that are limited to the classes they were designed for. Now, they could probably stand to loosen restrictions on gear that has already shown up on multiple classes, such as how the ilevel 80 monk dungeon gear is now available as a crafting outfit that all classes can glamour. Gear that doesn't scream "this is X class gear" is fine, and I imagine we will see more of that gear recycled as crafter outfits in the future.

You want me to start screenshotting them for you? I could make a 2016 daily flip calendar out of all the gold dyed adamantite armor glamoured tanks running Dusk, Sol Alm, Aery, and Vault for their relics. I've been dungeon leveling 3 or 4 classes since relic came out, and I swear every tank is glamoured the same way.

Between them and the shirtless catboys, you'd think there were less than a dozen outfits in this game.

Glamouring is fine how it is.

While I would like to glamour some of the crafting artifact gear (my precious pimp suit <3), I also appreciate these classes having a unique look to them. There's no reason to change how it currently works.

That would be beyond awesome.. My deepest wish.. is to be able to wear Ninja gear (Tunic.. and hood) while wielding my bow. This... is not a stretch.. and very cool inRP.

If I had 1 gil for every thavnairian bustier I've seen glamoured, I could afford the anima items right now.

I need this so badly. I love the female Arachne Culotte model, and was brutally disappointed when I saw how lame the male versions are. I'd give a lot for a toggle or a special glamour crystal type that would let you swap to the other gender's version of gear with serious differences.

Glamour needs to be less restricted. ><
