Why are Moogle recidents so rare in general forums?

I frequent the general discussion forums quite often, yet I rarely see people from Moogle post here. What's up with that? I feel lonely here! :mad:

Hey, man, there's like maybe two other people from Lich on here.

Thank god I rarely see them in game, wouldn't wanna make a fool of myself

Moogles typically remain invisible to most people, save a chosen few or if they want to be seen :rolleyes:

But seriously, isn't Moogle on the JP datacenter?

Maybe they're on the French forum?

But...almost no one can understand Moogles, so even if they did post, we'd all be like "Huh"? "Whatdidthatjustsay"? not to mention that only those with certain perceptive skills can even see Moogles...

You should come to the German part of the forum, we have lots of Lich people there :p

For Moogle, maybe check the French forum part?

This shows that only about 10% of players use the forum, and people here still claim that they're representing the majority of the playerbase, so funny.

I think I'm the only one who is from Shinryu and actively on EN forum :/

Indeed, a lot are on the French Forum.
I even did called out in game for speaking English, because Moogle is a 'French' Server.

Nooo it's an EU server, suck it up :p

I even speak French (I live in Belgium) but yeah, I use English more since it more used than French.

Hi there :P ....to be fair i was on Ragnarok on 1.0 , but rerolled to moogle in 2.0 :P

Yeaaaah, I think most of them are on the French Forum. I guess it'd make sense for people to stick to their native language in threads. There's people who don't, naturally (me for example - Moogle is considered a French server, I'm German, and here I am, posting in English), but the majority on Moogle is French, after all.

Also I don't really use the forum to begin with :v

I've never seen anyone claim that, at least not recently. I have seen people claim it's one of the few places for the development team to get feedback, which is 100% true. It's likely less than 10% though, I'd estimate around 1-5% to be honest.

Last survey from luckybancho (august 2015 but I doubt it have changed drasticaly) say 35.8% of fr ppl, with still a majority of 52.8% eng.

Just sayin'

Well, the majority of the French people are EXTREMELY vocal about being French. You generally get the odd person from Moogle who's like "I don't speak any English" in autotranslate when you say something as simple as "(name) please kill green add" in Sohm Al.

Also roughly 36% is still a high amount, regardless of what is the majority or is not. I just assumed it was the majority because 70% of the time I look at party finder everything is French, looking for fellow French-speaking people. My bad there.

I think it's a minority. Most of fr players are able to at least read english and don't mess with anyone giving them instruction on eng.

I have to agree with pf statement. A lot of fr pf that made ppl think that fr are majority. At least, moogle may be the only server where writing anything fr in pf or local chat doesn't lead to endless stupid discussion about "talking greek" or "baguette" joke. For my perspective, it's a good thing.

To stay in subject, I find moogle resident are few to post, I lurk sometimes the marriage thread, moogle is quite underrepresented. No idea why, the server is crowed and quite social, weird.

I had that one day, lol, I said something in English and he said, *sorry I only speak french* in french of course. my native language is french so I wrote to him in french...he was feeling soo bad, his intention was to troll..didnt work out very well LOL

moogle is a mix of FR, SP and ENG ....

70% ? , i only see FR ppl on PF when recruiting for statics , same goes for Spain players , everything else is in ENG :)

yup moogle have many spanish fc's and linksells and many of then dont like speak english to come the forum ^^.
