It would still be unfair to kick the person who got the house out, since they have the house now. Technically, they were there first as soon as it was available. There's really no fair way to deal with this.

Sadly SE is not going to hand you a house. There are are a lot of players in your position who lost a plot they were camping too someone else for one reason or another. If they hand you a plot they must hand everyone in your position a plot which leads too another issue. How do you verify who was there first and who wasn't the most the server logs could tell them if they have logs on it. Is what distract and ward you were in and for how long, also where you in a house or outside.

I just essentially described a reservation system which would not help the current housing issue but make it worse. If you think about it if such a system was in place would you want to be the 250th person on the list. All the while knowing you can't get a house sooner cause of the system will not let you...

SE told you to post this nonsense in the general forums? I don't think so. This thread needs to be locked or moved. In any event, when 3.3 is launched, be ready to log in and claim a house like everyone else - SE is not going to guarantee you a house because you were apparently too slow.

Interesting since once a server its open, it become open for everyone at same time. So it not matter if other servers open at different times.
Probably what happens is that was an early maintenance completion time instead the whole time, so then you log in too late.

PD: Post on any forum is always to be flamed/trolled, so just live with it.

I really don't know what kind of response you think you're going to get.

I'm not saying this to get a response out of you, your situation definitely sucks, but isn't a more logical solution to just move to a server where more houses are available if its that important to you & your FC? I really don't see a GM or SE giving you any kind of answer other then, "Sorry for the inconvenience...".

Everyone who has posted has given their opinions of the situation or guesses, etc. Once again, SE sent me a reply stating to post on this forum. I do not wish to waste any PLAYERS time with this issue. IF you are not a GM or a member of SE, then please move on.

Here is something that is not opinion. SE,Blizzard and even Sony direct players too the forums for one reason. As there are a great deal of questions and information that is shared and passed through the forums. The forum community can answer a great deal of questions and if the answers the community is giving is correct then its unlikely that a Gm or Member of said company is going to reply. This is something too keep in mind as SE does not promise that they will respond too your post.

Sorry to hear. Same thing happened to us. We eventually got a house in a subdivision of another ward. Have patience or wait for the wards in 3.2. It does suck, but the rules are first come first serve.
