Housing Functions Are Currently Locked!

Hello,
I'm on Jenova, and trying to buy a house in mist ward 8. I watched the house disappear upon reclamation, but when I attempted to purchase the lot I was and am still given the "Unable to execute command. Housing functions are currently locked." message. This has been going on for hours. I heard rumors that Jenova was the only world effected. Does anyone have any updates on this? Is SE working on fixing this issue? Thanks for your help!

Yes I have been sitting here on jenova for the last 9 hours and nothing. Square has not released anything about what is going on and when we can expect to be fixed. I do believe is only Jenova as I have seen no other threads posted.

Same, I think us initial bunch of campers are going to miss out from sleep depravation :(

Hour 12 and we're all still waiting - a lot of people on Jenova waiting by plots hoping this error is resolved. We spent most of Christmas waiting for the plots and are barely awake clicking the placards repeatedly. Please give us a hand, faithful Square team!

12+ Hours Waiting in Mist Ward 7

It's been an issue since maintenance was lifted, so some people have been waiting for nearly a day now. A lot of people are getting antsy and getting a bit crazy with insults and the likes. It's been crazy at the lavender beds. Good luck to all those who are also waiting.

Who knew people would be camping out houses like they do the proto-ultima fate :P

Also here on Jenova been waiting for about 13 hours. It would be swell to get an update so I know if I should continue to wait for a fix that could happen any moment or if I should just go to sleep cause its going to take a patch. Please give some snippet of news.

Steps:
1. try to buy an empty plot
2 Go through necessary steps
3. click confirm to buy, then get greeted with "Unable to execute command. Housing functions are currently locked."

we waited months for this. like watching the giants not make the playoffs. why se? why did u not just make new housing areas? jenova server is getting angry and the community is at each others throats. congradulations for letting us rot here.

Any sort of communication from SE would be super appreciated, there are tons of players who have been waiting for hours....

i heard there on vacation which is fine but obviously someone is watching the system from there. they cant leave a 60 million dollar a month money tree unattended over a couple days. they have to know there is a SERIOUS CRISIS ON JENOVA atm thats getting worse the longer they dont say anything. to the guys behind the curtain... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE GIVE SOME SORT OF FEEDBACK PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING OVER LAND PLOTS. or you can do nothing until the tues mainten and give us more of a reason to not have much faith left. O yea also peoples on ps4 game freezes when they come out of daedun and its been like that for weeks now.

if my girfriend wakes up and finds me playing she will be upset and prob dump me. please se dont make me lose my girlfriend because you cant do your job. we had such a nice christmas.

devaluation timer came and went, no price reduction. still cannot purchase plot. i waited 12+ hours. please acknowledge something!

The Devaluation system doesn't even work and the price of the plots didn't go down even though it was set to reset at 10:00 MST for me. There's a damn bug that needs to be fixed, I wasted days of my precious time off to get this house and I can't even do that but people on other servers are happily enjoying theirs. Please have the servers restarted to fix this issue, something of the sort.

My Jenova alt's FC chat hasn't been this lively in forever.

I'm also affected by this. My friend and I have been sitting in the Goblet for hours! Please fix this!

This is just a shame they would try and to implement this on Christmas day and just leave it to run without no one watching. It was mentioned in other threads and I believe Square knows of the issue but just ignoring it because they can afford to turn a blind eye to this matter.

I think I'm going to lose my mind. Please fix this before I do. Thank you.
