Glamouring two separate headpieces together?

Before anyone points out the obvious, or flames, hear me out here. :p

I'm sure some of us have had moments where they wanted to wear two pieces of headgear together for a glamour. I'm not talking about full on elaborate headpieces in general, I mean items that should be categorized more like an accessory, or something like that.

Like for example: Goggles, glasses, horns, eyepatches, masks etc... Maybe glamouring something like an eyepatch and horns together...Or glasses and a nice hat. There can be many different possibilities. And as time goes on and more armor gets released, there will be even more ideas that users come up with in general.

Now that I've said that. I'm not talking about adding on a full on armor slot, I mean a slot that functions more as an accessory where the stats are shut off or something of that sort so you can link two pieces together.

...Now of course it would be silly to try something like glamouring two hats together or anything like that. So the general idea would be to categorize certain items as a type of sub-armor or accessory. Anything that actually makes sense to glamour together :3

Anyway, I think it seems like a sound idea. And I'm sure the community could help expand on it a bit more. So what do you think?

Omg I can totally see that! I can see someone making a hippie with those john lennon glasses! Or some sort of cop! x) This needs to happen!

Maybe if the devs do something like Ragnarok Online.
Giving the head 3 gear slots (upper, middle and lower) instead of only 1 gear slot.

For now, the devs could bing a false beard with glasses and let the glasses get removed with /visor

I think they need to do away with the clunky glamour system and just give us glamour slots in the first place that we can drag-n-drop gear onto. Or at the very least, let the glamour prisms save the appearance to a slot instead of the equipment and have the slots be saved per class so that you could, for example, share one piece of gear between several classes and still have it look different for them all without having to manually change it every time. A good example would be putting all of your crafters into the lvl60 Adept's set, but whenever you switch to a specific class the gear immediately takes on the appearance of their lvl50 class gear with no more work on your part besides having already "pre-set" the appearance of the slots earlier.

... I can dream, right?

Edit: I just realized that I never addressed the OP. Adding another vanity slot or two specifically for the head like Felis suggested would alleviate that. I can't imagine other vanity slots working very well though. Only other slot I can think of that would make sense would be the back, but things like capes and wings would just wind up being a clipping nightmare so no thank you.

Edit edit: After thinking about it for a few minutes I realize that glamouring the slots would just make you take on a specific appearance no matter what you put on, which may not be desirable. This is why we think our ideas through before sharing them, kids! Of course maybe that could be alleviated by having "slot sets" like how we have gear sets. So you could still have several appearances saved per class.

I would love the wedding veil flowers without wedding veil and the Thavnairian headdress without the bows just the gold head piece, them two things made into one.

I've been playing this game for 2 years and have always thought that lol. It just seems weird to have to choose between glasses and a hat, glasses and say the santa beard, glasses and one of the simpler smn headpieces, or maybe even glasses with horns.

Anyway, that's the point. What I'm saying is some people -are- trying to go for a specific look, that's glamouring in a nutshell for some people. Trying to mix and match to create a certain theme. I really don't see the problem with it if some pieces of headgear could have a sub set where if you equip them to a glamour slot it would be there more for the sake of vanity than anything practical during battle.

+1 to this, it would open up a lot more options for glamour and finally get rid of the 'I can't wear my glasses if I wanna go out with a nice hat today'. Please save the chars that need their glasses to see SE :(

As a person who has worn glasses almost their entire life irl I support this message :3. The ideas given so far have been pretty good, so has the critique on it as well.

I've always wondered why there wasn't a separate slot for face gear with all the masks and eyewear in this game. Not being able to wear a classy hate with my glasses killed my sch look for me.

What I want is to separately dye a single piece of gear, at least two dye options. Like dye one part white and the other black, etc.

To be honest I always wondered why it wasn't ever addressed on here. It's been such a common problem for so long, especially now that there are more face pieces being made.

The frustration is real. Right before maintenance I was setting up a glamour with the succubus horns. I had a moment where I wished I could pair the horns with an eyepatch to I can make a demon commander :/
