The Scholar Relic has Crit on it

It seems like all the weapons, regardless of their name, have the same stat line path.

Animated Elements (Stage 1) is PIE/CRIT
Elements Awoken (Stage 2) is also PIE/CRIT
Animas Weapon (Stage 3) is also PIE/CRIT

So, just getting the weapon to Stage 2 (i200) is probably still a great sub to the Thordan i205 if you're looking to stack CRIT which is a lot faster than getting Stage 3.

Still not really impressive weapon because of 115 piety. Would be nice if you could choose stats on your weapon. Accuracy/crit would be dream.

I am pleased and glad because I have just been trucking away with the hive codex for what has felt like forever.

That will have to come from a future "Novus" step again. Which I'm sure we'll get at some point.

Agreed. I never wanted to waste my Eso on the normal Elements book because of all the spell speed, so I too, have been using the Hive Codex the whole time. Now, I'm very glad I waited, because even the Awoken book is essentially a more powerful Hive book even before it's upgraded to the Anima.

Crit is not good.

What crit does:
Fairy heals will crit more often
Simple heals will crit more often
Adlo will not crit, no matter how much crit you have

Those moments where you don't need it to crit and it does. When you need it to crit and it doesn't. RNGesus laughs in our faces as we beg for his blessing in battle.

Playing a SCH is all about living the dream. It's getting a crit adlo on an off-tank buffed with Convalescence after using Eos's Fey Illumination and a MNK has applied Mantra, and then deploying it on the party right before a fourth A4S Mortal Revolution (or similar mechanic).
