Remove leve allowences- Idea from ff11 (don't shoot me for saying ff11)

Hey I've been an active SE mmo subscriber since 2004

And after ff11 aged a bit Fields of valor were introduced. They worked similar to a mix of leve quests and hunt log, at first the players were given a sloted allowence on how many pages they could do. This was remove after a bit and players were given the option repeat the page they wanted.

Personally I'd like to see this happen with ff14 guildleves. I never understood the need for allowences since they regenerate every 6 hours, I also never saw a reason to only cap at 100. I ALSO never understood the need to make only 2-4 leves appear. I think opening leves a bit would let players have more ways to level as they see fit, and gathering/crafting clAsses would benefit from this as after a point most of ur exp come from leves.

What I purpose is

1) remove leve allowences

2) give the option to repeat a leve

3) make all leves visible.


Also with cgrand company leves I'd like to see

1) removal of the solo restriction

2) increase in seal rewards

3) add gathering and crafting company leves.

Thanks, I never understood why they kept the 1.0 restrictions when they no longer function like 1.0 leves.

So you want want abyssea style alliance leve spams ? If they did everything you say this is what would happen.

People make 8 man party and all choose the fastest leve to complete and spam it over and over for fastest EXP gain per hour.

This would breed worse player than those who fate spam their way to endgame

1) It's a system to avoid linear power leveling, although the acquisition of new allowances is so generous that I have a really hard time depleting them, after taking a break and being capped at 100. So the only reason for me to remove them would be that they are nearly pointless anyway.

2) Not sure, what you exactly mean. Do you want to do the same leve over and over?

3) What's the most likely thing everyone would do, if this was the case? You'd do the most benificial leve over and over. So, basically you're doing just one leve, despite having access to all of them.
Just tell yourself, that the leve NPC doesn't always have the demand for all possible leves ;-)


Regarding the grand company leves though, I do agree with you. In their current state they make no appealing alternatives to neither experience, nor seals gain.

Personally I like grinding levels, I'm not a fan of waiting on fates or que times. I like killing out on the open world, and the changes also would be places with crafting levels and bathing levels.

It's a pain in the re to keep going back and forth when doing crafting levels, same fir bathing levels. and slightly same for combat levels.

I rather repeat said levels till I out lvl that levels then move on. RTM, and power leveling are weak reasons not to remove the allowance since rmt and Pl barely even do levels. RTM spam dungeons and shards to sell coin etch.

This suggestion is geared more to crafting/gathering not just combat. As a player who can play a long time everyday I burn through my levels faster then they replenish.

And alot of levels are pretty funny, and for me give me something to do outside of spamming dungeons/ fates. Plus who cares if groups of 8 spam levels, least the game would look food.

Not even asking for abyssea afk spam, just stuff to do. This would help me get gathering and crafting jobs up fairly fast and fun.

Also this will help fresh players earn chocobo faster if leves didn't have a currency tied to them they could do company levels and get chocobo w/o too much resistance since most ppl are in hw doing fates in costa can be a bit hard, and not everyone wants to gather/craft so that leaves out provision trading and doing that challenge log.


And the 9repeat thing is an option not something u have to do, and its more benefits gathering then anything as doing all combat leves it best to do all the leves where gathering its best to do the evaluations. And crafting already has this so same as normal.

I think giving players more freedom of choice is better, not everyone follows the "optimal" path, and having the game be less restrictive and linear is a good thing.

If leve allowances were removed, someone with enough gil to buy the powerleveling items (or with friends generous enough to donate them) could go 1-60 on all of their crafters in a matter of only a few hours. With no leve allowances and the ability to simply spam the same one over and over again, odds are you would start to run into RMT doing leves for the gil reward.

its a extremely bad idea, specially with high level leves and temple leves, the rewards are very big that can easily exploitables (lots of materials, and gil) if there were removed the day limit.

I have a bad feeling that if they removed the restriction, they'd just make the XP worthless.

I'm against removing the limitations, even if others feel that RMT would be a weak reason for it, I disagree. RMT is a real problem in games now a days, and it's strictly against the rules, the only thing removing the limit honestly does with as generous as it already is, is to provide a huge way to provide RMT people a quicker way to break the rules. I'm very against having the restrictions removed.
