Would love to put the Starlight wallpaper in the FC house for Christmas but they're up to a $1mil on my server.
Also I get totally "MY PRECIOUS" over the event housing stuff for the FC since it's impossible to replace.
Be neat to see the old decoration items avaliable again.

The reason why they don't put old event furniture on the Mog Station is because it is sellable on the MB. People could buy the furniture and then sell it on the MB to make money.

I would be happy if they made it available every time the corrispective seasonal event starts, or make it available from the Calamity Salvager... But yeah, it can be sold on MB so I doubt they would do it.
It would be amazing if changing ceiling lights/walls/etc. didn't destroy the item. >_> -

Also, they've been doing that almost immediately after the evens lately so the furnishings are trash cheap anyway. Windchimes were hoarded by those hoping to resell for big gil but there's such an abundance, you can't even give them away. Also, it may not be via MB but people do sell mogstation items,the eternal bond bands for example. Other Mogstation items that have an equivalent that can be posted on the MB are:Quote:

So, what they could do is make a mogstation version with a different name that cannot be traded. It's not like they haven't already done this in the past, as you can see. However, I would prefer old event furniture to be made available via the calamity salvager, (though I'd be a little mad since I just blew a painful sum of gil on cherry trees for my FC house.) -

Maybe a new NPC housing shop with the old items you can repurchase if you've had it before. Like the calamity guy but for housing. Cuz that starlight barding can't acquired anymore either :(

Last years items will be available during event. They are just not listed.
Withholding fun/christmas items like snowman, christmas boxes - ye even the wallpaper - from players does not seem smart at all.

Having Houses release at christmas and letting us pay for additional 6 retainers instead of friggin increasing the space on those we have to make it less of a headache is definately annoying and maybe topic to discuss :D
I accept somehow 6million for an eastern cherry tree :confused: :p , but not being able to put presents up at christmas would be a step too mean... imo.

They really should do this, and I wouldn't mind either way if the housing items are made available on the mogstation or in game somehow whether from an event npc, the calamity salvager, or the GS or something as long as they don't just remain exclusive when all quest items from these same events are made available to everyone at any time after a year.

Wouldnt really matter which avenue they added old event items too as long as they do, im good with it.
Calamity Salvager would be perfect. Too much emphasis on gil gouging is already 90% of housing (and the entire game tbh) and 10% on just plain old "fun".
