Fantasia-holics Unanonymous

Hi, my name is KitingGenbu and I'm a fantasia-holic. Bought 5 this month alone lol. Anyone else addicted to fantasias?

Don't do Fantasia, kids.
They change you. People will start seeing you differently. You take one, you start getting addicted to it. Eventually you'll start forgetting who you used to be.

I've just bought my second one in 24 hours. Kill me.

I Fantasia at least twice a week. Sometimes more. I've been off the juice for almost a whole month though!

im officially on my 68th, but ive bought them for other people as well so who knows how much has been spent!

No I like my character. I still have all the free ones they given me.

Only from Miqo'te to current Highlander, until now :)

As long as people have spare money, who cares. Too bad all these money don't go to developers and don't support more character customisation options, my char is stuck with #1 voice like 80% of other male lalafells (SE can't realize we don't need old voices for kid looking chars) and would like to see some more variety.

Never used Fantasia at all including the ones given for free.

iirc I've seen an image before showing a vicious cycle of a Fantasia addict player but it's in Japanese though. Wish it's translated and posted here lol.

They should give us a free fantasia with every major patch update, or at least every other one. I've only used 3 in 3 years though so I guess I'm not overly concerned.

You made me think that we need to be able to preview hear our battle voices as well because some of them are quite bad when you're in combat.

I kinda messed up on my 1st fantasia ... I ended up using one without changing anything ...

I've used 6 or 7 total across 3 characters, all free. (Well, "Free". Got them because collectors editions. 1.0CE, 2.0CE, and 3.0CE)

On my main: First one to change some manthra feature before the Aesthetician existed, 2nd to change into derplander.

On my "main alt": First to change some lady midlander feature (again, before aesthetician), 2nd to change to Au Ra at Heavensward, and 3rd to go back to lady midlander.

On another alt I know I did at least one fantasia change, to change the face so an eye scar was over a specific eye or something. Don't recall if a 2nd was used or not.

Who needs cash shop mounts when people pay fortunes to change their race.

With how much people (myself included) pay on these, SE should work on a whale costume....I'd buy it.

I recently stopped. I've bought the first available 9 fantasias on the same month, then went on to buy 6-10, or even 15 on a monthly basis.. I finally found my character though and I've stopped. I wasted so so much money (you can ask anyone on gilgamesh)


I had a problem and I got out.

I generally Fantasia 2-3 times a month.
My shortest time though, was Fantasia-ing twice, on the same day... >A>()

I have switched a lot my self..but always go back to lala..worst for me was twice in one day..

Only used the free one and then one for 3.0.

There's this person in the FC next to mine's house, omg I swear, they change race/gender/appearance at least 4-5 times a week, every week and have been doing it for about half a year. I want to know what they do for a living to have all that extra cash they can blow lol Almost as bad as those people who blow thousands a month on a f2p mmo / phone app >_>

Before the Au Ra, I've bought the 5x pack at least 6 times, (7 cuz I switch between both clans.... plus the one time only packs back then, bought all 3, plus the free ones.... and even using my one time item retrieval..... Yeah.... no problem at all. I also didn't change my name at least 7 or 8 times...

Bumping this cause I know there's more of you out there. Don't be scared, this is a safe place.

My use comes from the class/job I am currently wanting to focus on. Playing a tank? Going Roe. Ninja? Cat or Lizard girl. Yeah..

Don't be ashamed. I've done it multiple times just because I didn't like the battle voice I had lol. But that was before they made the starting CS skippable. Couldn't be hassled to sit though that 15min then spam clicking each time just to see if the battle voice was good or not.

Before I left the game I fantasia 8 times and then when I came back I use it 4 fantasia already ( 3 for my main and 1 for my alt)

I only used the free ones so far and held myself back by arguing to not spend money on something so "useless".
But then I saw the christmas sale..:rolleyes:

I wish they had a cool down like once every 3 days. I'll buy 5 at a time "just to have them" I'll make a tiny adjustment and realize I forgot my voice and make another tiny adjustment and still forget to change my voice.

I'm like the only one in my group of friends to have never touched any of my Fantasia's (my sub time one and my Heavensward one) Which is interesting because they tell me they spent a long time on their characters but I spent like 5 mins on mine, guess I just grew attached to my elf man.

Surprised to see so many people who buy Fantasia's by the truckload, I wonder how much Square makes off Fantasia's alone.

I have only used 1, still got my 2nd free one in storage. Luckily havn't had much need or want to change in the time I have played.

Wow. I thought my friend and I had a problem, but some of you people buy more than the two of us combined.
