So i been trying to recruit the last few months but seems like everyone doesn't or is already in a fc or not.

Seems like this message isn't doing it any more and this is the same message that got me like 6-8 recruits per week.
Starting to think there is a problem.
Does anyone know any advice that could help me attract players again.

Do NOT SEND RANDOM INVITES.
Just don't do it.
You can go and talk to people, offer an invite, but offer something else too, like help with a run or something. See if you have something in common with them. -

Shout messages do little to bring in the kind of member you expect to stay longer then a month.
The best chance you will ever have of getting more members is to socialize and be extra helpful, if you spot a green leaf or fc less guy then ask him if he wants help with anything, craft him some gear or hand him some gil or something.
Then you can send him a friends request and tell him about your fc and if he needs help or wants to join he can contact you, i can guarantee you that those that join you thru this means is more likely to stay longer since you have shown them that your a good person. -

I'm gonna be as blunt as possible with you. It's the fact that the message is boring. Everyone uses it. Nothing in it stands out or makes your FC seem anymore different then another.
Here's my advice, and not everyone may agree with this. Let's start by dissecting your message.
1): "Two Airships"
I see this one a lot, and I really don't understand the point of it. Unless your giving the recruit free access to your airships; I never understood why people would advertise this. Despite that, it does attract people regardless and that's the objective. If one those airships has access to Diadem hard, you should advertise that to. Even though more then half the community finds it boring as hell, just knowing that you have the option to do it is enticing for recruits.
2): "Craft Tables"
This one is kinda expected that most FCs with homes have at this point especially if you have a mansion. IMO, you could leave this out to add more characters to your message.
3): "Able helpers"
This one is also kinda expected from FCs. It's a little bit of a given cause most FCs are generally helpful if you ask.
4): "Mansion"
Keep this one. That one is important. This is one of those major things that says, "My FC has this, others do not". It stands out. That's exactly what you want.
Things you should include in my opinion are: Mention if your Airships have Diadem Hardmode unlocked. And add that your LGTB friendly. This is highly attractive to people to see even though most FCs are anyway. Also say "Casual/Hardcore/Roleplay" if your any of those. Another thing that will grab certain players attention is if your message has a hook. A jingle or funny message. Also there's nothing wrong with shouting. Some people will tell you they don't do it because they don't like it, but truth be told, it does work; and those who don't like it are usually the ones perfectly happy in their current FC. They of course arn't your target. (just remember haters are gonna hate there. Just don't spam it. Like, shout in the zone once every 10-15mins or so). Contrary to popular belief; shouting is actually a good way to make your FC known. People may not join right away, but they may consider your FC eventually. I also suggest making a PF ad to advertise as well. -

Your recruitment message is nearly identical to 90% of messages out there. As truthful as it all is, you need something to set yourself apart. Helping expand and grow your FC just sounds like your after numbers, the quality of players is better than quantity. Say what some of your goals are or what activities you all do together eg raiding, events, pvp etc
the way my FC does it is we have a social LS and invite people to that who we meet in PF/DF or just randomly and who seem fun, social, helpful and are good players/people even if they are already in a FC. We get to know them and eventually they may decide to join if not they are still in the LS.
we have gone from around 12 to 50+ active members this way and everybody gets along -

You wanna know an easy way to get blacklisted for being annoying? Shouting FC advertisements. Run things with new people and network. That'll get you players who might actually stay and be interested in the group long-term.

Another suggestion that helped me immensely when I was running a League on DCUO is a website listing rules, requirements, and our all important schedule of events for members. We also used a Facebook page just for laughs to share any funny memes or pics or interesting articles we come across.

Free companies speaking something else than English would have quite a hard time recruiting without the use of shout, especially in the case of small languages. My language, for example, has less native speakers than NYC has residents. Chatting up sproutlings would be a terribly inefficient way to find the right people. Shouting on the other hand works well. It's better for the new player as well because they don't have to network for 6 months before finding a free company to chat with in their first language.Quote:

Also another thing you could try is posting a FC add on the forums here within your world, to be honest the last couple of FC's I've joined were through the forums as you can get a better idea of the people who are in the FC at times. -

I don't mind the sporadic shouts for recruitment (seems like a natural part of the game,) but I get irritable when one thing clogs up the chat log and makes it harder to catch more important things. I get even more irritable when the continual input uses statements that I find disagreeable. But yeah, has not happened too often.Quote:
