Vote with your wallets. Don't let them feed you a half-fast game and make you pay to beta test it until the goods are released! This sends a bad message to the rest of the game developers in the world and makes them think they can get away with stuff like this. Feel free to pay with your wallet, I'm sure the people who are unhappy will be more than glad to not pay. Those who are willing will.

No need to call people haters or white knights.

They need money, and they haven't gotten money out of this game since launch, so they have to charge the players to support the dev team...what is it that you don't get?

I will glady play them money to make that vision. Sick of the subpar western garbage.

So if I have to choose to pay them for a game in development or get stuck playing a BS western game which lack any form of fun or accomplishment after 1-2 months ... I will gladly pay.

can't wait for P2P... will prevent these garbage post from poping up every day... finally the forum community will match the in-game community.

I'm funding 2.0 with my monthly installments.

I find it so funny with all the forum trolls trying to enlighten the misguided players today. I am going to put money on the subs going up after a few months after they start charging.

The patches past Christmas will come players will post on the forums and discuss things without drama, and people looking at the game will see what has improved instead of 20 "OMG THE GAMs IS OVER RUN FOR HILZZ!!" post everywhere.

Paying the cost of 3 starbucks coffees a month to see the evolution of potentially the biggest comeback mmo of all times is more then worth it. If they pull off those changes as they said... there is simply no mmo coming out that will be able to compete with XIV.

How many more of these self-righteous posts are we gonna see. Seriously, any level-headed individual who does not find this game enjoyable enough to pay for it can simply not do so and stop playing, but it's just pitiful that there are people posting still trying to convince others to feel the same way they do.

I enjoy THIS game. The way it is now, AND the direction it is headed in. Anyone who feels the same can like this post, or post how they feel themselves. I'm not gonna have someone else tell me what to do with my money.

Best part of this sub: these forums are gonna have a lot less of these crappy threads.

They got money when we bought the game.

Looking at the plans for the patches coming up to when they go P2P and the one after when they introduce jobs, the game will be where it should have been at release, in my opinion. So you wont be paying for an extended 'beta' but a release game. Whether you enjoy said game is your choice. Me personally ill wait till the job system to sub to XIV. But after that ill gladly pay a monthly sub for the game.

Just look back at mmos released over the year, and what they were like at release. Some had a bit more content, some had less or about the same, and ALL had their fair share of problems.
