How much did the Flames pay you to throw the game into their favor by never leaving the Adders alone? It is still 3 city states yet its Adders versus 2 other teams working together. <_<

We don't pay the Maelstrom; you guys are just really, really terrible. The Adders run around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off.

I'm pretty sure most Flames and Mael on here will agree that most matches nowadays are just Immortal Flames vs. Maelstrom while the Twin Adders go bug one of the other two at random.

As a Flame it feels like we get harassed a bit more but you guys really need to shape up a bit, so if the Mael and Adders want to go tango, be my guest. For a wile it was Adders vs. Flames every match but not anymore.

On Primal, though, PvP games no longer feel like 1v1v1. They feel like 1v1 with the Adders attempting to figure out how to play for the first time.

Wow... The sound of the other shoe lol. I seem to recall a similar thread about Mael having some kind of deal with Flames... Which was equally ludicrous. Mael and Flames have no arrangements and no deals. There's more competition between us and it's more fun that way. Honestly, I'm pretty sure that both GC's would prefer it if Adders would just go sit in a corner and let us have fun fighting it out.

I don't think it's ever really been 1v1v1... or even 2v1 like some people claim. It's always been Flames versus Mael, and during our matches we're both wondering which one of us Adders are going to go out of their way to piss off, because that's all they seem to really be there for sometimes... Unless you get that one rare group that actually play the match.

For whatever reason Mael has had a recent influx of stupid anyway.

24 man. Flames are leading at 420, adders have 30 (lol) we are in second on 370 points. 3 nodes spawn, a b in the caves, pretty close to flame spawn up north, but in the easiest to defend point on the map, the ramp. We grab it. A b and an S spawn on top of adders spawn, they grab both.

5 of our idiots go down because 'adders have an S!!!'. They are still below 100 points, for now.

3 of us try to defend our b against all flames. We die.

Worst part? The nodes are expended, an S spawns on top of us and we win anyway. The idiots are saying 'see, I told you it was okay'. RNG gave us a break after they threw a sure thing to the wind.

I would have rather lost and had them learn than have lady luck validate those fools.

Mael HAS been ballsing things up lately.

Like we're sitting on 750 Points and someone tries giving an order to charge the enemies who are both at 500 and below.

We have a node, all we need to do is hold it, but instead idiots run off and start feeding like they can't count.

Congratulations you have just joined an extensive list of dozens if not hundreds of players that have at some point killed me in frontlines. Now you get to return to the back of the long line of adders and flames that try to single me out and focus me cause they cant stand me lol. In case you didnt notice, the reason I wear the ghost glamour in the first place is to make myself easier to identify since I love seeing ppl like you drop everything and focus me in a blind rage to see me die (the fact that you even bothered to take that screenshot shows this, its pretty pathetic lol. Individual win rates will prove nothing though. At 43.7% win in Maelstrom this week and Knives is in maybe a third of my groups, so by just those two we can't be losing too many matches. I'm willing to bet several flames members have positive win records this week too, and even an adder is winning somewhere.

Also, lol@ the adder rogue. When I first saw that guy I thought it was just a mistake but he keeps showing up in our spawn. Half the time I mount in our area I get some idiot that has a limit break but no access to fetter ward, it's hilarious. Poor ninja's.

Also if you haven't been in Maels, if you spawn us or make 1 bad decision on us in a game we're in 3rd and you decide to spawn us? We are going to spawn you for the rest of that game to make sure you don't win. So you Flames/Adders mostly Flames lately, should learn to actually play the game instead of spawn camping. Too late. Flames and Mael have almost always had a rivalry going all the way back to the early secure days (before everyone started swapping to Mael and forever murdering their que times. R.I.P). Adders have always just kind have been the 3rd wheel... who recently have been trying to make Flames and Mael notice them by going out of their way to be monstrously annoying during matches...

My oh my~ This passionate little exchange is PRECISELY why I love pvp so much. Very few other places where one can find such honesty, such complete dispensing of all formality and false everyday tact, where by ones very word and action, the proverbial 'F*** You' can be administered in itz most radiant form. Tis but the blood of life, no?!

Me has had the opportunity to fight alongside and against both Knives and Tsundere (w/o any healer or premade for either on multiple occassions) While one of the above two is definitely a forefront fighter, the other prefers to stay in back behind teammates and associate with the mages and heals (when some are there) til its a tad safer to come up front and engage a nearly half-dead opponent. To each, his/her/itz own playstyle :) And while I'd sorely luv to assign the names to each said style in view of some of the rather humorous comments made above, I'll simply say that the obvious malice generated from all this is exactly what makes enjoyable pvp. Cuz lets be honest...next chance these two get, someones getting a super luv-you longtime- teabag special. And why not? What greater motivation is there to keep ones skills sharp and game solid? More hatred please ^_~

Makes sure you thank that adder NIN of theirs that tries to spawn camp for all the past, present and future free kills he provides us before going to Maelstrom. Basically down to only one nin that does it with any consistency now, I guess the other 4 got tired of dying 6-7 times a game. I've popped so many meteor survivors on those guys and my feet hurt from all the jumping up and down on their corpses.

100 Flames wins ain't that tough.

It is when you spend most of your games with the famous flames tanks who constantly queue for PvP and proceed to do under 10k dmg and die at least 3 times per match with 0 kills. There are a lot of them. Actually quite honestly most flames players die constantly, I recall a few times in 72 losing streaks (flames barely ever win a 72 man) I counted deaths after each game, most games were at least 60 deaths and one game I believe had 88 deaths. One group had 5 tank/dps that did total less then 20k damage, had 19 deaths and 0 kills. Pretty telling.

It looks like your winning percentage over the last 4 weeks with Flames (I assume that's when you switched since your Flames PvP rank began to climb at that time) was nearly 42%. Doesn't seem too terrible to me. Certainly not as high as Maelstrom's, I'm sure, though.

There's no doubt also that Flames do have a lot of bad players, like you said. I've been a Flame for my entire PvP playing time, and we definitely have our rough stretches when it seems like we can't do anything right -- but then suddenly we'll have a few weeks in a row when we win quite a lot. It's weird, but keeps things interesting for me, at least, and like Tsundere mentioned in another thread, it can be fun to be the underdog sometimes.


Sorry that your experience with Flames wasn't very good, though -- I do remember teaming up with you for some 24s that we dominated, at least, so that was fun! Good luck with Adders and your return to Maelstrom. :)
