Did they Secretly Nerf the Stats for Gold Chest i210 Equipment?

Hi All,

For everyone that's running Diadem since last week's Hotfix Patch, how has your Secondary Stats on the i210 Gold Chest Drops been?

From my own runs and hearing from multiple groups going in at other times this past week, we've been seeing WAY MORE i210 Drops with ZERO Secondary Stats! :mad:

I think I've counted 8 - 9 pieces of i210 with NO Secondary Stats. Hearing from other groups they've confirmed another 10 - 12 pieces this week with either ZERO or 1 or 2 Stats (at low Stat Point Numbers) at the most.

I saw 1 i210 piece with 4 stats on it after the patch. :(

Did they ninja nerf the i210 Diadem Gear so that Secondary Stats are even harder to get to spawn?

How's everyone else's experience so far after the patch?

No secondary stats at all? I've never seen that....

So just MND and VIT, for example?

Yeah I've noticed this too, it is very strange.

I noticed alot more of the accessories tend to suck lol, the first week it was out everything had 3-4 stats. My MCH earrings have 5.

No issues with my runs. All i210 had 2-5 secondaries. But they are totally RNG so it could be bad luck at all or the system trys to reduce the average secondaries per droped item.

I have a ring with 3 secondary stats.... So it just luck I guess

Yah. :( It's really off-putting. I've also seen (and heard others confirm) drops with just 1 or 2 secondary stats (i.e., still worthless) as well. More than before the patch.

Have you actually reported this? Because it seems like a bug. I've never seen a piece of any iLVL in Diadem with less than one substat, but often two (even if those two have very poor numbers and are thus vendor trash) but certainly not the 210 pieces. And even if I don't roll Need on gear, I do look at everything because you never know.

We got a bunch or really good drops today and the other half were really bad. Which was the same as last week so no our group didn't notice any issues. Also we got a BUNCH of gold chests. Eight total in one run.

Thanks for the report. For your 8 chest run, what was your strat? Was it just your own party, solo, fighting Tier IVs and Vs? Or?

Just a guess but maybe Normal and HM have different RNG now. It's a possibility.

I saw a ring or earrings drop out of a silver chest (il210) that only had 1 stat. If I remember right, the stat was mind.

Another 5 pieces in today's run (post patch) that show more garbage stats:

* Mistbreak Necklace of Fending: VIT +49, Determination +24 (nothing else). :(

* Mistbreak Tassets of Fending: STR +47, VIT +49, Parry +14

* Mistbreak Helm of Fending: STR +62, VIT +66, Parry +13, Skill Speed +19

* Mistbreak Tassets of Fending: STR +47, VIT +49 (nothing else)

* 5th piece had ZERO secondary stats as well (forgot to write down the name)

Asked a buddy of mine: They got 10 pieces so far this weekend from a few runs, and said 5 of the pieces had ZERO secondary stats. 2 of them had 2 secondary stats, and 2 had 4 stats but not maxed.

This is a very unfair move by Yoshi P and the Dev Team.

Please revert your nerf for Diadem.

We run two-three groups in Hard Mode with our FC. I prefer to run the middle/northern island with the golems IV and big red boarlike dinos V. The golems die really easy, and the boarlike dinos spawned tracks rather quickly so long as the group stayed in one place and one or two people pulled to the group quickly.

The day we got 8-9 drops there were 4-5 full groups (I think it was 5). Which was just enough to kill very fast, but not too many to start loosing drops due to the faulty flagging system. This is probably the HARDEST part of Diadem right now. Hard mode content clearly dies most sanely with 4-5 groups But the second you get a 6th group some of the groups start loosing drops OFTEN. Its a pain in the @ss balancing between enough parties to kill fast vs loosing drops due to a broken system.

We had another Hard run Thursday with three of our groups and initially everything went well... but then we had another group join our area and drops started getting missed again. Which REALLY sucked since we had primed that islands tracks. We moved to another island with the dinosaurs with fins... never EVER try that island. The sleep/para/poison is STUPID broken right now.

We did not get many drops (2-3 per group) due to the mess. But again two of the drops in my group were supurb. One was a caster chest with great stats. The other was a very nice healer ring with 47 Mind, 22 Piety, 36 Crit, 15 Det and 14 spell speed.

RNG is RNG.

hand for dragoon: 28 acc + 30 ch +22 det +40 ss
ring: 26 acc+ 32 ch+ 22 det +21 ss

RNG means controlling by mystery power. ^^;
