I'm would like to see something like this...if only to see if it could actually be done with the certain possibilities it would take, and see how far theoy would take this regarding altered appearances like Glamours and Fantasia, and Lord of Verminion.

Why do people always default to 'add it to the store' in a P2P game...

To be fair for this idea, a minion of ourselves would take more resources to make then a normal minion, more so if it changes armor to always match ours and even does so when we fantasia and the like. So IF something like this was added its one of the few things that probably should be added to the cash shop instead of the Gold Saucer or via quest.

For this case, might be because the Scion mammots sans Alphinaud (and Minfillia and Thancred if you didn't miss the First Rising) were already there as well as the "takes more resources" part. For other times it's either simple lazyness, people being sick and tired for people begging for the XIII items/hair or possibly a lack of creativity for how to obtain the item in-game?

I always felt a minion of yourself should have been given to you by Haurchefant, with all the implications it brings.

One day perhaps they will be able to make such a minion...

Since the current minion have almost all race, they should put more missing race/gender like Male Roe, Male/Female Highlander, Male Midlander, and Male Aura as minion.

A minion of myself would refuse to let go of my leg and its mechanical gyrations would have me wondering why I thought having a minion of myself was a good idea.

They could make it every time you summon it, it'd just copy your current character design. (hair, model, makeup, scars)

I...would not be totally averse to a minion of HIM, either. But there would have to be a third possible interaction of 'your' minion beating the crap out of him if no Haurchefant is present.

This is a Mogstation item I'd actually consider buying. Wouldn't be a question if it used job-specific moves in LoV.

I would love this, and i know i saw this type of tech in games that had a doll version of youre character, I forgot the game but it was a cute lil thing.

Also what does haucafant minion do (sry for typo loopy from cold.

Every once in a while, the Haurchefant minion goes on high alert and looks around with his shield up like he's going to protect you.

I think they could make more money, if it didn't change each time. It was just a minion of you at that time.
If you change, you would have to buy a new minion which would be representative of your current self.

In a way, it would be like buying a memory of yourself at that time.
And would easily make the money needed to create this.

This is what I was thinking. But that brings about a whole issue of server limitations. That could add countless minions.

This will never happen because of that alone lol.
