I'm probably going to pay the monthly fee, but the only reason is still talk to community on my server.
From my point of view I'm sitting with a character with the classes at 50 that I want, all the playable content I see is a primal fight or a dungeon every 3 months. Do I really have to pay the price of 3 months just for a primal fight?
It does seem cool to get the new jobs, but what are the people at 50 going to do after? Go back to kill the primal again :confused:
Like I said I'll pay your money, but all payed before version 2.0 is charity.

You know...after seeing these concept arts and reading all this yadda tadda i'd be extremely excited with these change (and prolly would set a preorder as soon as it became availble).........if the born of FFXIV 2.0 didn't mean the death of the original one.
Right now idk what to think about these changes...about the 2.0 or everything else...i might need some time to digest all this...
But all i know is that i never wanted a new game...i just wanted the original one fixed...and they "giving away" the new one when time comes won't change this feeling at all. -

It's not about the amount of 50s. If you have several because you have a certain playstyle, you should have something to do for it at 50.

Well, I mean, it's not hard to buy just enough crysta every time there's a patch, play for a month and do the content, then stop playing if the game is boring you until the next patch comes out =P

I think the scope of what they're going to attempt is unreasonably huge, but I hope they can pull it off. All the stuff in the .pdf's looks amazing and is something I'd be more than willing to pay for, but I have my doubts as to whether they can even come close to that. I mean, in the last year, we've seen what they could do. Unless this has all been ongoing, I don't think 2.0 as previewed in that update is going to happen. They gave themselves a year to basically make a whole new game. They had at least six years to create what we see today.
