Crafting Comfort: Where do you craft?

I have this insane need to craft in my Hottub in my estate. Cooking food on my Culinarian? To the Hottub! Ingots on Blacksmith? Hottub! Leatherworker? HOTTUB.

Where do you guys prefer to craft?

I like to craft at my FC house, besides having the crafting stations there, it makes that area feel like a real workshop so I prefer working there, especially when a few of my fc mates are in there making things.

I usually craft where ever, usually some where in limsa though unless I had to go farm the mats and have all the mats already after that then just craft there.

Usually at the MB/retainer bell closest to the FC house.. Even though I rarely actually grab anything from the MB.

I just sit my ass down and start synthing wherever i am. Ideally near mats.

Right outside my sister's house next to the mb and summoning bell. (: Home sweet home!

By the summoning bell/market board at either of my houses or in the basement of my FC house.

In my personal house if I'm doing a difficult craft. I dunno why, but I don't like others around then.

Some days I just say 'screw it' and craft on the front lawn though.

I like to craft usually wherever the last mat that I need for the recipe is... Be that at the FC junk monger, Limsa, or the great outdoors

I made a small statue that resembles an abstract owl. I call him "RNG Owly" and he guides us through the uncertain realm of RNG.

I craft in front of him.

Hawker's Alley, preferably out of the way of foot traffic. I like the minimal hustle and bustle around me, but it's very distracting when people decide to either craft right in front of me, or worse yet jump up and down or run through the crafting table.

For difficult, 2* crafts, I used to have a ritual about going to that recipe's respective guild (so, to the LTW guild in New Gridania for a LTW craft) and playing Big Blast Sonic in the background. Now that I've got pretty much all crafting down to child's play, I just do it wherever I am.

Varies really.

Inside of either the Centrifugal Crystal Engine or the Mobile Supply Cache at Azys Lla were my favourite spots for a while, now I've gone back to my old favourite spots, at either Hermit's Hovel or in/around Forgotten Springs.

All of them are nice, quiet spots, with only Forgotten Springs really getting any people running around.

Mist's Market Board in front of beach.

Typically anywhere, but if I'm bulk crafting something and don't require the MB/retainers I like to remove myself to the top of the stairwell near the Gladiator's Guild in Ul'dah, or fly to a floating island in the Churning Mists (mostly for the music with the cost of extra time and gil) with a lucky minion keeping me company.

For cooking, I like doing it on the front porch of the Bismarck restaurant.
Unless I notice I'm missing some ingredient and now have to go through the whole map change annoyance just to buy what I'm missing and then I instantly regret doing it there ^^°

Next to the nearest market board in case I run out of materials.

Usually around my FC house, but in the past I liked crafting and afking in the Forgotten Springs, on the roof NE of the village.

A few spots, high up in the Churning Mists around Zenith, sometimes in Iddyl, sometimes in Limsa near the FC chest but away from it, sometimes in Gridania next to the FC chest and MB.

Depends on my schedule and how much I need to dip into the market or retainers. If I am grinding I like a nice atmosphere like on a rooftop in Drav hinterlands or up with the dragon npcs in the forelands.

I craft at the mist where my fc house is.

It depends on what I am crafting.

If it's something important, like a 2* craft, I lock myself in my personal room. This way if I fail, I will be the only one to know.

Otherwise next to the summoning bell/Market Board near my FC house, or in the FC garden.

If it's for red scripts, I craft next to the collectable appraisal(?) in Idyllshire.

Before... I was inside the FC house near the Bell and npc that sell low grade comp (my kingdom !)

But now i do tend to prefer just outside the FC house...
Between the market board and the summoning Bell (and i complain when I need low grade comp in the house XD)

For 2*
I cut EVERY vocal program, because i know the people of my FC... They will vocally distract me...
(They could spam any flashy skill... I don't care XD it will never bother me)

The MB by my house, my yard, the bell in my house, or Matoya's cave.

I love crafting in my yard. I have the cherry trees from last year's doll contest thingie, and having them all around me is so zen and peaceful.
