The majority of this interview is about the Korean version, Diadem/LoVM feedback, etc but there are a couple of points regarding future content:

• 3.15 will be released mid-to-late December.

Some other points:

• There are big plot developments planned for the Void Ark story.
• 24-man raids will never see any significant difficulty increases.
• 4-man dungeons won't increase in difficulty because they're designed for people who don't have much time to play. It's expected that first-time clearers will take 35-40 minutes to clear (including 1 wipe), after knowing the mechanics it'll take 20 minutes to clear, and after overgearing it'll take 16 minutes.
• However, if there is a lot of demand, they will create separate 4-man raids.

4-man raids would be absolutely wonderful. My puny 5-man FC loves doing things together (we're real-life friends who came from FFXI with its smaller party sizes) and we always have to play with strangers, which is great in its own way but not the same as doing hard content in our own group and laughing together on Skype. We've constructed our own challenges by doing things undersized and undergeared but if we can get actual difficult content designed for smaller groups one day it would be a wonderful, wonderful thing.

+1 for the 4 man raid, it will be a good way to create a midcore-hardcore content that will offer more diversity to the game and is really needed!

And maybe 8man dungeon like the old ARR story !

If they're not going to increase the difficulty of 24 man raids - which is understandable - then they should make the 4 man raids as difficult as some of the Primal fights on EX mode. If they don't then they'll just be no different to regular dungeons - aside from being a little longer perhaps. The Beginner's Hall is promising - especially if it teaches players how to move effectively and deal with multiple mechanics at the same time. Add an achievement and a minion to succeeding and quite a lot of players will actively tackle it. I'm looking forward to more Void Ark - I like it a lot more than Alexander in terms of atmosphere and design. Both are good though.

Yes to 4 man raids. For sure.
And I am soooo stoked for 3.15 after reading this.

My main worry with 4 man dungeons is the potential for some compositions to be downright awful if it's tuned too high, and if it's tuned too low people will complain that they're too easy. I wonder how they'll get around that, 8 mans work due to the increased size. I'd prefer to have 8 man hard dungeons myself, but we'll see I guess.

They could get around it by placing a greater emphasis on mechanics rather than DPS. Though we'd likely just see situations like with Titan (Hard/EX) where a lot of people end up wiping again and again. :p

They would have to def do mechanic intensive battles.
As a person who absolutely loved trying Turn 9 before 60 cap with 4 people, I think it's completely possible to make things challenging and 4 man.

Edit: And, I honestly wouldn't mind a 4 version of a raid and an 8 man version. I personally would want the 4 man version to be harder than the 8 man version.
But again, I love low man challenges. In XI, I use to always try to do things with the least amount of people possible back when content was 18 man.

That would definitely work, similar to the Thordan Extreme trial.

they don't need to use the same raid for 8 and 4 player and work around a balance more interesting this way.
i think adapt already existing raid for 4 player is a bad idea.
