Well they went over board withthe drop rate lowering

So been talking to people, and went into diadem myself.

We will probably find out more this afternoon as more people log on.

But so far, it seems to be 1 diadem run, and you get 1 gold chest.
This is excessive.

Not only are the stats random (so 90% of the gear is unusable), but now thee is only one chance at a single 210 item, for anyone of the classes with randomized stats.

This seems a little too harsh.
I know they didn't want the 7-10 gold chests per run, but 1.

Basically they ruined the one fun thing they created. (IMO)
Now there is no real reason to run it anymore, for battle people anyways.

I am one of the lucky few who got a bunch of my 210 items b4 this nerf.
(wish I coulda got my 210 ring with decent stats I wanted but oh well)

But for those who didn't grind it b4, they are going to be left with a much harder less populated diadem.

Once this really sinks in, it will most likely kill diadem.

I did 2 hard diadem today and got 10 and 8 gold chess. It could be far better so I'm not complaining.

Did HM as well and got about 5-6. It's figuring out how to spawn tracks most efficiently now. I think IV and V rank mobs aren't considered low ranking mobs. So now it's time to find where to farm as a large party... Dino island with Swanu and Trex, Celphies and Pelicans, Celphies and the Tree/Ent men, Or island hop on the smaller ones and kill the V Teradactyls...

We tried splitting into smaller parties but I think the Zerg on harder monsters is faster. We ended up farming pelicans and Celphies, but it's hit and miss.

The changes have meant on Behemoth no-one is queuing at all for easy, and the most I got in 3hrs of queuing for normal via ishgard on tank/healer/dps was 3 people including myself..... There was normally always 1-2 diadem HM groups on PF pre-hotfix, but there haven't been any all day when I have checked

got 1 chest from a normal one, it's seem you need to fight Rank V to get more spawn.
I would like to get hard diadem unlock now T_T

Yeah we did a HM today, went a little better
Not as many stars spawn, so we just killed IV and V, and got 210 drops from them instead, with a two stars I think.
But 210 drop rate off V's isn't terrible as it seems, so I think that's the best way now. (back to dino island for HM)

Idk what to say for normal diadem. Its pretty bad. The most I heard of today was 3 gold in normal, but that seems to be the exception.
1 or 2 seems common, sometimes none at all as well.

Well at least gathering wasn't touched... for now.

You know what pisses me off the most. Instead of actually fixing the problems with diadem, they just messed with the drop rates.
It's like they want to ruin content that is actually fun and worth running.
No one was getting super awesome gear from there anyways.
It was just filler gear.

They could have, adjusted how the loot rolls are handled, or done something else to motivate people to actually change how they do this.
It was like they finally put something on here that motivated me to log on everyday. Gotta go run more diadems.
Now, its back to, log in on Tuesday, cap Wednesday log back in Tuesday.

I only ran that once since it came out and I hate it. I was hoping for more of an open world dungeon like feel to it. Instead its just an open world kill kill kill with no skill kinda like hunts w/out the drama. SE needs to step it up.. I'm really trying to find things that are fun to do but 3.0 - 3.1 have been really boring. I don't understand why they are spending more time on a stupid minion battle game then bringing out more content. SE really dropped the ball by not bringing out the relic quests...I think that would have filled up my time while waiting for that ESO cap to reset. And I could also work on multiple relics for multiple jobs.

I understand that FFXIV took some time off but after waiting 5 months and all we got was some retarded open world zerg fest, new 24 person dungeon, 2 new dungeons, 1 primal (if you want to call it that) and a retarded minion battle system to past time is a really low blow especially from SE. Even the story quest was really good but ended to quick and they didn't even get more in depth with the Warrior of Darkness. I understand that stories like to leave cliff hangers but this one left me with a huge ? mark hanging over my head.

Anyways I just hope that relic quest comes out soon Im tired of being bored with this game.

The hotfix pretty much means camping in one spot isnt as efficient anymore. I actually enjoying traveling between islands, killing some mobs, finding treasure, it's neat.

Had my first run in there since update, saw the most 210 yet.

Not possible, Before the update you can get 13. Now you can average 6-7 with 8-9 maybe if you're lucky. You must have been doing it wrong before.

lol no. lots last night as well, saw one 3x210 chest each run. Also, at leas one out of a silver each run. Nice "not possible" though. And this is in runs with a mediocre amount of mob kills.

If you got more Chest than before, something was wrong. And 3*210 isn't that rare for me.

I've been farming it since before and since the patch. Triceratops island is the best for 2 or less parties, anything more and you need to farm Vs.

The best place is SW there are two islands with 5 pterodactyls then you drop down to Celphie island making sure to silence their devils eye.

Ideally I think hopping between those pterodactyl islands and the one SE with 2 and an ageless tree would be best but it's near impossible to convince the zone to have that much downtime flying between those locations.

We can consistently get two tracks in my party since nerf and I'm trying for 3

Not for me, I've seen way more 210 overall cause I've seen more chest before the update.
But if you get more than before, your were doing wrong. You could end up at 17 Gold if you were lucky before the update. And It could have between 1-3 210 each time.
Except if you get a special strat to get more than everybody ?

We also got 8 gold chests in our hard run. So I'm not complaining either.
