No.
Food is already too expensive, I don't want to add anything to it or it will become more expensive XD
I thought this topic was about attaching an omelette to your helm. I'm kind of sad it isn't.
At first... I thought it was going to be about melding materia to the food. First thought was "I chipped a tooth!".
Guess I see the angle though....we have food that enhances crafting and gathering. The melding RNG can be pretty brutal at times. I'd rather see them just fix the rolls on melding in general.
"This bread smells delightful, but I'm really not sure about those materia shards sticking out of it..."
Not gonna lie, that's kinda what I thought of at first. xD
I don't want materia in my food.
Or how about spices that add certain stats to the food and make them unique
I'd much rather they remove RNG from melding in general. But we all know that would never happen.
This is the next best thing.
Eating materias, damn this new generation.
I miss when a crafter's stats influenced success rate... this I think is a good idea. Melding is one of the most expensive things in this game, especially when you get into the fourth or fifth melds. And if Anima weapons follow Relic's example, there's going to be that meld grind to look forward to, too.
Me: "Excuse me waiter but there appears to be a "parry' in my Chilled Popoto soup"
I never thought CUL ever got the shaft in any patch but CUL always had a spot for endgame raiders and prog's. If anything I would opt for the option to "Batch" cook recipes instead of having to make everything one by one.
yeh tbh culinarian doesn't need specialist recipes as for most people its just the craft to make end game food for gatherers, crafters and raiders, it is a supplement craft imo which at the same time the one that always brings in nice stable gil not to mention quite a lot of it as is.
Please don't think materia is candy...
eating materia
so you want me to eat food with essentially magical rocks in it.
knothanks.
