Some of these hunt marks are really innocent victims here. Why does clan centurio want to me to go out and kill flying kittens? And why go out of my way to kill imprisoned dragons in Alys Sla? They are the victims they arent hurting anyone!

Well, to be fair, said flying kittens are vicious little monsters that want to eat your face off and will attack you as soon as they see you, so it balances out I guess. ;)

The same thing could be said about the real world when people hunt various cute and proud animals for little more than sport. Adventurers aren't necessarily nice people. They're opportunists who may do some good but they're just as likely to resort to pillaging the fallen and slaughtering innocents for coin if given the right incentive.
