Second Long Curley hair option for Males?

When they released the new "Curley Hair" thing in the gold saucer, I expected to be able to get to use the long hair curley option the females were shown, because a developer said that the females could also get the afro hairstyle.

However, I found out today that the "female" part of it is actually exclusive to only girls. I don't think its right, in real life I actually have long curley hair.

Since the thing costs the same if you are a male or a female, why do females get 2 hairstyles from the same package whilst males only get one curley hair option?

Both males and females get option number 1, however females also get option number 2.

This to me is a bit unfair. Option number 2 should also be available to males. Its a unisex hairstyle, not an outfit.

The item itself does not say that either. I wouldn't of bought it if I knew option number 2 was exclusive. All I knew before I bought it was that females could get the afro hairstyle as well, which made me assume it was the other way around too.

Right now Miqo'te females have 26 hairstyles base, whereas males have 13. They have double the hairstyles using Miqo'te male/female as an example.

I was wrong about it. However, seeing as the females get long curley hair and the male options, males should also get long curley hair.

Long Curley hair is and always has been Unisex. I find it kind of silly that males are not able to get long curley hair.

More like that braided ponytail from the contest, please.

Eeh that female hairstyle is n the character generator, it's not bought with the afro pack.

Nah, I was messing around in the character creator for new characters and both of the curly girl hair (with and without bangs) are there.

After 3.1 hit and males only got short hairstyles again I did something I never wanted to do... I drank one of my fantasia potions and changed to a female Roegadyn (was male elezen before). I dont understand why men arent getting some nice looking, long hairstyles (and, while we're add it: give females more short hair aswell, to make it equal). Its obviously not a big deal for SE to implement long hair (since they dont care to much about clipping anyways...) so why cant it be unisex?

I can understand some of the hairstyles not being unisex. However, curley and long curley hair has been shared for a long time for both genders.

I would quite like a version of the existing luxuriant long male hair without the band across the brow. I imagine this would be quite easy to make, and it would suit me more :)

That was a style I was looking forward to as well. While the one we have now looked nice, it wasn't rendered as wavy as I had hoped. Long wavy hair styles for guys are to die for, hell, even just long and voluminous hairstyles would be great. T-T

...wut. o.O Is that...actually correct...? O.o Because if the lack of gender balance hasn't been obvious enough yet, this surely gives it a kick-in-the-ass boost. O_O (Even if it only pertains to Miqo'te, but I can't imagine the other races are much better.)

Yeah men at that, like really has our society grown to complain and about every feeling they can possibly feel.

Long hair IS there it may not be on your cat boy or your pink thonged male roe but it's there. If you want long hair play a race with long hair.

A few of the female Miqo hairstyles are just the same thing with a different options, such as a different colored headband, so it isn't like they have 26 original styles.

This is actually a girl complaining :P I originally choose my male elezen because I wanted to play a man having long hair. I dont believe anyone here is complaining about the number itself (to be fair: 3... or 4 (?) female hairstyles are the same just with a different hairband) but more about the fact that there isnt a nice long hair option for men - granted, we got that "hippie"-hair, how I like to call it, but thats only one long hairstyle and in my opinion not a very good one. While I can understand for some hairstyles to be gender-exclusive I dont understand that for a lot of the long hair - my current hairstyle for example! Would have LOVED that on my elezen ;_;

While the numbers aren't quite correct, it is true that male Miqo'te have the fewest hairstyle options.
