Never seen this happen before, so I'm letting people know. If you're in a queue for something, don't change into anything or remove gear, otherwise the queue will expire.

Expire? You mean like itll withdraw you from the queue?
or you mean the DF UI bug which shows as 0/0, despite you being in the queue?
If so, that's display only. It has no affect on your queue position.
No, it will kick you right out of the queue.
Did you make your ilvl go under the required ilvl to enter? Because I'm pretty sure that will kick you out.
I was in full eso when I queued. Then I decided to take all my stuff off afterwards during the queue to mess around with my friends and then it kicked me.
Also, I've done similar things before, but it never outright kicked me out of the queue until this patch update.
What were you in queue for when it kicked you out? I just tried with lvl 60 dungeon roulette and it did not kick me out for going under the required ilvl, neither did it kick me out of the Diadem queue.
Oh I misunderstood, I thought you meant inside an instance, not just queueing up for something.
I can confirm that this isn't true because I queued with the correct iLv and switch to lv 1 gear and queue right into duties just fine. I do this all the time.
If you want the full rundown, here's how it happened
I was in Azys Lla with a few friends, checking out the changes to the Warring Triad. We've been having issues trying to queue into Void Ark because people kept leaving (same crap as always with 24-mans). After she did a new queue (like maybe 7-8 minutes after), we started messing around, culminating in me stripping down to add to the humor. Then I ended up getting a message like 'insufficient ilvl' and the queue cancelled.
It sounds the queue was canceled at some point and someone try to requeue. And my FC created a 24 man queue for it, with me in Lv 1 gear.
Maybe, but I never saw the usual 'withdrawn from the duty' message you tend to get unless I missed it somewhere.
No problem here either, just did the test
Well I can only hope. Later on tonight I'm gonna recreate the circumstances and see if it'll happen again. If not, I can at least drop the subject at that point and continue playing.
You should just drop it. It's not a thing. Least your the only one.
I hope this is true. Smart move on SE's part if it was.
