Diadem could be improved

Airship missions are a great idea so far. The only issue I have is the actual map.

There's too much empty space, too much air to fly around in.

And to be honest, I would rather have a semi-randomized map every time I enter so that it doesn't get stale.

So basically two things if it can be added would be great.

-More actual land to explore
-randomize the land a bit.

I wish there was more to do other than just fighting and gathering.

Seems tailor-made for dynamic content. Random map generation and sometimes wild terrain or weather. Hopefully that comes to pass.

Random maps alone would make it 10x better. Even if you kepet everything as is randomalized maps means youd have to explore each time you got there and see what islands and monsters/gathering points you had

1) Objective List does not disappear after completing 3, each objective you complete over 3 gives slightly more rewards, maybe +3/5 Esoterics each. Completing all objectives spawns a Gold chest for the party.
2) More varied objectives.
- Put 6-10 lookout points randomly on the map, finding all of them spawns a gold chest (can make it harder by limiting it to one per party member)
- flying races, spawn gold chest for the party with the fastest racer when time expires, spawn another chest for the party with the lowest average time (at least 4 members must complete the race).

I think that loot credit needs to be significantly eased - if you get into a party that leaves after objectives and/or does nothing but gather, good luck getting loot from helping other groups. And before you say "don't like it? make a PF group" - SE is the one who made it DF-able, and it is their responsibility to design it to be fair to all who wish to use the DF to access the content.

I don't know about you guys, but I think this new content is great! I went in for the first time last night with my raid + 2 randoms. Geebus, I never had that much fun since... ever? Oh man the laughs... wish I recorded some of the mess we went through.

Though I do think if you go in solo or pug a 8 man group, then it can get daunting. Lack of communication can lead the strays all over the place. But with my experience, there were about 4 parties including us in there and there was always some action going around. People call out high level mobs, everyone trains in, get a gold chest, get a 4 stat 210 Bard glove, lose it to my raids tank, /cry, laughs... I did cry tho TT

I'm fine with the way it is, i'd only change the Star-ranked mob called...Forgotten Wisent i think? His constant pushback and pull in on top of slow/heavy is kinda annoying to deal with at times.

Beside that, i've never had so much fun, me and a bunch of people managed to spawn 2 Celphies V rank ontop of a Brachiosaur, the star ranked dinosaur.

It was nightmareish!

Or if you end up in one where their dps is utter crap :/ Last night, we couldn't get any credit on the higher tier mobs with the other pts because our dps was extremely low. Low as in, when we fought a II, I was on mch using quelling, we had a mnk, drg and nin. Tank died. I tanked >_>

It's pre-balance for diadem right now, once everyone get's geared up things will (probably) get easier.

the zone could be improved yeah , but its a step in the right direction :D

going to try hard tomorrow :)

By the way, have anyone entered that anthill on easy mode? When we got there the time was running out and we couldn't explore inside...

I think the randomness is extremely annoying. What they should have done is copying FFXI game structure of Delve. Basically they could do a set objectives, kill 10 rank 4 and 10 rank 5 mobs to get key item to spawn stars NM. But you must kill certain family of rank 5 mobs to spawn certain stars NM. This way people have goals and things are less random. They could easily add key item that buffs your party damage and healing, or defensive capabilities, or HP/MP regeneration but you can only use 2 buffs at a time. Maybe last only 3 minutes, and purchased by those sky pirate currency.

Maybe you can also kill 3 different Stars NM, to get key item from each. Then use the key item to pop a special NM that is even harder and drop many gold chest? Any party members that do not have the three key items, will not be able to loot the drop, but they get instead a key item that will let them participate on the next round. This way you can fully utilize your 90 minutes for a set of goals.

Its all good for diadem, i enjoyed this new content, even for a normal guy who before 3.1 always crafting and gathering all day, now i have something to grind without daily limit. the gear is very good too, if RNG bless you, you will get super duper insane gear that will surpass eso/savage gear with hefty margin.

my only problem is, the unleechable paralysis from the mammoth is not fun, i mean, as healer i cant to anything when i got the paralysis and if i already run out of the aetherflow, i can only type "im sorry" to my party, because i cant do anything to heal them.
