Well its like this...

I say that 3 Gms need to get on each city and chill and see how many RMTs they encounter and ban all of them becuse i feel like I'm paying my money each month just to get tells and friend requests from RMTs all day. You can't enjoy the story without them chiming in. Can't read a fight stat. Without the advertisement wall popping up three in a row. I believe that a GM in-game sweep would be nice. By the way my blacklist been full since October 2013 just saying..

This needs to happen if they can't implement reliable coding to identify/ban RMT suppliers/users.

They've been here since I began this game & is an instant negative to friends I try recommend this game to.

Yup. We definitely needed yet another thread on RMT. Your idea is also so original that I am sure it's never been suggested before on any of the other RMT threads. And no one has given a reason as to why it's not a good solution.

They obviously haven't got the point after all the RMT threads, it's been at least a year. More coverage, discussions will bare minimum reiterate the situation.

Technically no... in Japanese forums it's much better to keep it all in one place; none of this "maybe if we make fifty threads about it they'll finally do something" stuff.

When you find someone that's botting, the right answer is not to ban them right away.

Most MMOs do this. Rarely will you see GMs in an MMO doing individual bans for bots and RMT.

However, SE definitely needs to implement better measures for players to handle RMT themselves. An easier way to report RMT such as right-clicking the name in chat and clicking "report RMT" to both blacklist the player and report at the same time. The current procedure to report RMT is just too tedious at the moment. Giving players the ability to customise the tells they receive would also be good. Such as receiving tells only from friends or players above a certain lvl.

whats hilarious is JP servers don't have rmt telll spam i have been on tonberry ssince spring, and reseiced 1 rmt tell last week. And that was it.

What Id suggest is yoshida and dev play characters on the NA servers to really grasp what is going on, They understand it is an issue, they just don't fully grasp it because they don't experience how bad it is.

Yup you're right. We need more threads. Especially those with titles as ambiguous as yours. I am sure the devs would instantly click the thread.

I'm more worried about players that benefit from gil buying messing up game balance.

I am not being hostile. I am being sarcastic. I didn't name call either.

Right click report would just be abused by every 12 year old who didn't like somebody.

That RMT bot is out there! It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you unsub.

i just ignore them got tired of black listing and going under busy 24/7 so i just started ignoring them completely hopefully someone with authority finds out because RMT is illegal
