Just the basic patch cycle, towards the end less and less people playing until something "new" comes along.
Logged in today. Queued in, it was instant, I am not experiencing this delay you speak of.
Its dependant on time of day/week. Also the patch cycles.
The longer it takes for a patch to come out, the longer the queues get because more folks stop playing and then come back when the patch hits again.
No difference in tanking, but I've noticed a good 9-15m increase in most of my queues as DPS. I don't even try to do anything other than Ravana or EXR anymore. Even tanking the Old primals seems to take an hour.
Noticeably less tanks in DF now then in Oct, maybe because they are always the first to clear contents due to instant queues.
Depends on the time of day for me, but things have been normal in my server in my expirence(behemoth). Just wait until the patch comes out, it'll be much quicker.
Can confirm DPS ques on Siren are taking a lot longer in some dungeons/trials/roulettes, Like Leveling roulette.
DPS queue times seem to be double or triple on Lamia. But, maybe it's because I just got that character to 50 and I have a lot of pre-Heavensward stuff to chug through.
My dps queues are about the same as always tbh.
I still get 5-9 minutes queue times on dps on the Primal data center but healer is now 10-12 :o
Mine are the same as usual, but then, the Aether Datacenter has all the high pop servers on it.
It depends.
- Alex normal is always under 5 minutes for me, regardless or being a tank or DPS.
- Expert Roulette don't take long, either.
- My Lv54 BRD for Sohm Al takes 30+ minutes.
- My Lv54 BRD for Leveling Roulette takes 20+ minutes.
- My Lv52 WHM for Dusk Vigil is random; I'm usually always waiting long for a tank.
- My Lv52 WHM for Leveling Roulette takes under 2 minutes.
cousin gets party instant on his paladin.
I wait around for 30-50 minutes.
That's the issue because the game is tank and healer reliant without those two no party for anyone.
So expect SE to keep releasing 1 tank job and healer each expansion.
Examples.
Blue mage tank.
Red mage healer
Samurai dps
next
Knight tank
Seer Healer
time mage dps
next
templar tank
Illusionist healer
sage dps
never know whats gonna be next but probably like that.
Depends on your class and which dungeon you are queuing to. Some of them have really long queues. Don't forget we got the biggest content drought since ARR launched. 5 months without patch or new content. Heavensward did not have good end game content beside lvling your jobs.
could be due to time zone difference, there are players who still play in servers not in their own time zone. I noticed in my server, players would use PF < saw groups joining instantly for all sorts of contents so you could try PF.
DPS queues for repeat content have gone up. However, DPS queues for characters completing a duty for the first time remain reasonable. I was playing with an alt last week and her lowbie dungeon wait times were all under five minutes. New players get to jump the line for first time duty clears.
Leveling queues for DPS went up a bit, which is understandable, considering most new AST/DRKs are at the cap now.
So did expert roulette as DPS, but I can understand that, too - most people have their esos by now or are just sick of the dungeons.
There's also the content drought that's an overarching issue and might affect dungeons not run frequently, like the ones in the High Level Roulette.
If wouldn't be surprised if on average, queue times went up. But you know, lack of data and all that.
It's been too long since I queued as dps, so I don't really know .-.
As healer, my queues are always pretty much instant (unless it's for content no one ever does) and that hasn't changed lately either :)
