Sorry about that. :/"
A lot of content is referencing to something in pop culture, this is nothing new.
This was also referenced at one point:

Best is still "bring out your dead" from the THM achievements. Especielly because during 1.0 the THM guild was more like a burial institute (selling graves, fulfill testaments) ^^

Not suprising really, you can't walk three feet in this game without a pop culture reference whacking you in the face.
Not really a fan of it to be honest, in moderation sure but the whole damn game is a pop culture reference at this point as far as quest names are concerned at least.
The English localization team does that because the puns in the Japanese version don't work in English, iirc.
Is it as over the top in German and French?
Yeah that reference was pretty obvious. My favorite one is Titan Ex "Quake my up before you O'Ghomoro" made me literally LOL.
I guess I'm just one of those people who is a fan of it. I enjoy references to other content I like. I can understand it getting on the nerves of some people, but since it's, (as far as I know), all UI stuff that's doing the referencing, I don't see it as a big deal......
I always remember that quote because that goofy austrian death machine spoof band made a song about it

The puns in game never get old.
And you know what?
That's perfectly fine, different strokes and all that.
I just wish the developers didn't take what seems like every chance possible to shoehorn a pun or reference into the quest names. I'm more for total imersion when possible but obviously the game wasn't really designed around that in any sense. I enjoy the odd funny named quest myself or a well placed reference but I just feel they go a bit overboard with it at times. All things in moderation.
You quoted my whole post so you might as well read the whole thing before posting a witty retort.
