Halloween Seasonal Quests

Are there any more quests after the one you get the broom? I dont see any

I have to say that the halloween seasonal event this year was a bummer. only a little quest chain of 3 quest and thats it? couldnt u think of something more fun stuff to do? I hope they will put more effort in the christmass event.

In before the cash shop complaints.

The events usually have short, sweet, quickly resolved questlines. Probably because they don't have the biggest of teams on them, but that makes sense given it's a short, sweet little event. Should be happy at that, though, as it also means each year is unique. They only really rehashed in XI but that was mostly to keep old event items available, they still always did something new for the year.

It feel short because you can buy the other event items with gil instead with an event currency you get from event FATEs

Would have been nice, I think, if there were about a half dozen to a dozen event fates in the character level 20-40 range a la Moonfaire. Had a lot of fun there, it was a hang out spot, and was really rather disappointed when something like that didn't return for Saint's Wake - especially with all they could have drawn upon from the theme.

I kinda prefer events this way. Grinding for seasonal currency feels more of a chore than anything. Don't we grind enough for everything else already?

Better buying it with gil than turning this freaking fish in to get tokens which was really a pain if u had alot of them....

Wait until next year when the broom's in the cash shop and all the people that didnt bother to pay b/c there's "nothing to do" until 3.1 start crying like the little babies they are ^.~

@OP: Nope - the broom is the last thing you get - for me that's actually all they needed to do, i love flying around like Kiki >;3 (There's even a cat on the handle d'awwwwwww)

Am I the only one who gets the urge to bat at the dangling pumpkin lantern on the front of them?

I think the event was perfect - finished on two toons in under an hour. I have so much to do in other MMO's right now (mainly other Halloween related events) having one less event to worry about having to grind rewards was a relief!

I'm content with what I got.

I enjoyed it. I hope for future events, they just completely phase out bardings, and put mounts in for events. Probably won't happen, but I'd rather have a new mount than another Barding. I haven't unstabled my Chocobo since HW launched.

The gear was a nice touch, but I'd also prefer transmoggable weapons, too. Like, oh, idk, some Pumpkin fists for my Monk? :0

I must be spoiled from playing Guild Wars 2 because this was probably the weakest event I've ever seen in an MMO before. I use Guild Wars 2 as an example because it's by far the best MMO for seasonal events, IMO, despite the game's various flaws. Seasonal dungeons, seasonal weapon/armor skins, seasonal enemies, seasonal "toys" like minions or shape change tonics, seasonal mini games, and sometimes even entirely new seasonal zones (limited time). I feel like in FFXIV they just threw together some silly three part quest to placate everyone, like giving a baby your keys to distract them because it was the closest thing at hand. The fact that I was done with the seasonal content in under 15 minutes and had pretty much forgotten it existed afterwards is just... well, lame to me. I've only been playing for a few months so I don't know what the other seasonal events are like, but if they're like this, I think it's downright pathetic.

Especially considering Guild Wars 2 is B2P with a cash shop and FFXIV is subscription based with a cash shop. :confused:

I prefer short, sweet, non annoying seasonal quest with lots of super fun cute rewards, like this one!
