FFXIV-Star Ocean Crossover Event [SPECULATION]

So Star Ocean: Integrity & Faithlessness is due out in February (Damn. A reason to drop money on a PS4). Anyone up for speculating when and how a crossover event will take place in Eorzea?

Could the Allagan relics we've seen so far be in violation of the UP3?

Could give us a bunny mount

I like it, furthermore getting it once it comes out.

On a side note, game releases like this are why people take breaks, SE needs to rethink the housing relinquish for stuff like this, but back to topic

MOAR STAR OCEAN love it and maybe they should add vanity weapons based on it.....ie eternal sphere (even if its just aesthetics :D)

I would rather see a Disgaea cross over event (Different companies but one can dream!).

Collect barrels for a frantic Ashton Anchors. FATE reward is the obvious housing item. Barrels barrels barrels.

I only won that fight ever by spamming MP damage bombs.

That one AoE of hers was impossible to survive. @_@

But wasn't Freya and the rest already a crossover from another game? Valkyrie Profile, no? Wouldn't their appearance in FFXIV mean it's a crossover event crossing over into a crossover event for a crossover event? O.o'

Don't hold your breath. I've been holding out hope for the FFXIV X PSO2 cross-over ever since both Yoshida and Phantasy Star's producer and director all agreed to the idea in person in a Dengeki interview like two years ago.

It's not even that I have any desire for something out of either part of the cross over, I just want to see how dumb it could be.

So, are we going to beg or assume that every game Square releases will have some event tied to XIV?

I really don't think we need added events for games that have nothing to do with the final fantasy series, let alone FFXIV.

Considering it's a Tri-Ace game, odds of a cross-over happening are very slim.

I didn't even realize that was bare skin...just thought it was some kinda bizarre flesh-toned fabric.

I think this tops Albel's SO3 outfit in terms of ridiculousness.

Square Enix owns all the rights to star ocean now as they paid for it to be published under there name tri-ace are just the developers. Original star ocean and star ocean 2 were published by enix in 1996 and 1998, if square wanted to do a crossover event they would have every right to but of course that is IF they want too.

Star Ocean: Till the end of time and the last hope were published by square enix and developed by tri-ace as well.

Unlike the checkered dress from SO5, Celine's clothing is "tastefully" revealing. I think character designs went down hill after SO2 and I find it hard to relate to some of the characters in the later entries due to their obscene wardrobe. thb I never used Celine because I always had Claude, Rena, Ashton and Dias as my main party.
