Ideas for Starlight Celebration 2015 rewards.

Seeing the rewards for this year's All Saint's Day has me excited and it got me thinking about possible event rewards for this year's Starlight Celebration.

I know it is still a ways off but I figured it would be a good time to get ideas out there since these things take time to develop.

Here are some thing that I think would make great rewards for this coming Starlight Celebration.

- A Starlight Sleigh mount. Essentially a "Santa's Sleigh" mount that can fly (with accompanying magic sparkle trail while flying), is a two-seater and can be rode tandem, and is pulled by a Chocobo wearing the Starlight barding head and legs.

- False Beard. A head-piece like the False Mustache, but a big bushy Santa Beard. Of course there would need to be the obligatory joke about how it looks like someone just shaved a karakul and stuck the fleece to your face.

- Starlight Moogle minion. A Moogle minion in a Santa outfit with a gift sack.

- Give Gift emote (/gift). An emote similar to the Hand Over emote except you have a gift box in your hand and it says something like "<player> presents <t> with a gift!". This emote could even be worked into the quest where you have to use it on people to gift gifts and spread holiday cheer.


What are your ideas for rewards that you would like to see for this year's Starlight Celebration?

Ok that sleigh would be pretty cool

Besides the beard, though that is just personal preference, I love every idea you had. But what about the outfits? I wonder what we will be getting, only so many ways tomrework the santa suit, lol?

A Christmas tree 'inside' the house would be a nice start XD

The beard idea is good but I fear that the Lalas will get them and call their race dwarves.

An Elf Outfits for lalafells (and Elezen maybe)

Some sort of angel Minion, given Chrismas origins and the fact that Angels are still use in related iconography (some are event the tree toppers)

maybe A Silly decorated tree outfit

And since Ishgarde is apprently the origin of the holiday, Maybe have the quests go there (or at the Coerthas central if this isn't made limited to HW)

Glamor Prisms like the Rising ones, only instead of fireworks and stars have them give an holiday themed effect instead.

A Star-themed earring

And maybe gift boxes like the Easter ones that give mats, rare dyes, food, etc.

Yeah, outfits had me stumped since the Santa outfit has been done along with a reindeer and snowman costume.

Maybe go more simple and less costumey, such as having a few variations of "ugly Christmas sweaters" you could get and maybe two versions of beanies, one with a pompom and one without. Essentially holiday themed basic winter-wear.

Maybe we can get so,e space themes suits (I'm not talking Astronaut suits, but something themed for the constellations or the night sky)
