does final fantasy 14 work with geforce 660 ti when update window 10
Playing on Windows 10 as i'm typing this. Sooo.. yes, it works just fine.
Recommended graphics card is a GeForce GTX 650(D11 minimum or D9/11 recommended), or GeForce 8800(or better) for D9 minimum
As for W10, I don't think the OS is "officially" supported?
i use win 10 to play this game with Potato laptop (8520G+8570M Crossfire), works well and theres slight improvement in performance
I even using with GT630M and it worked just fine
FFXIV runs fine on WIndows 10. But make sure you have the minimum required specs for both the OS and the game. And as always updated drivers.
Yes, you will have no issues running the game with Win 10, I have the same card but a bit OC'ed. Max settings DX11
Also running on Win10 just fine. GTX 770 here.
I did have some early instability and BSODs, but they were caused by Chrome. Haven't had one in about a month. *knock on wood*
After the upgrade make a clean install. Download and use the newest drivers for Windows 10 and everything will work just normal. Next month Windows 10 will get a major update with a lot of refinements, fixes and features. One of them is that you will no longer need to upgrade through your 7/8 and then make clean install. You will be able to install W10 straight away and use your Windows 7/8 license key straight away to activate Windows 10. So the process will be simpler faster and safer. FFXIV runs without problems on 10. Older systems may get a slight performance improvement as well. Just be sure to use the newest drivers.
Win10 should be fine. I did run into freeze/lockup problems but it was casued by my Realtek Sound card. After a driver update no more system lockups. When I played a media file those apps will lock up, did a websearch and someone said EVGA precision X app the fan control one was causing video to crash the apps for some reason with the UI. After I updated that... no problems with the system at all
I tried the upgrade but it lost my sound card, nothing I attempted worked, so I went back to W7 for a while until the issues is addressed. I will try it again later, maybe in the spring.
Windows 10 home, 2-way SLI GTX680, runs butter smooth as long as I don'T Alt+Tab.
Other older games have been giving me headaches. But FFXIV is flawless with steady 120 fps at max settings.
Make sure to download updated Windows 10 drivers for all your components from their respective manfacturers, (Graphics, Audio, Motherboard chipset, etc).
