Which matters more, minion quantity (amassing a large collection) or minion quality? (rare, hard to find/make minions do more damage)

Will the minions have roles similar to tank/healer/DPS?

Based on some screen shots we have seen, this game looks like something like Battle Chess (based on minion movements) set in an RTS fashion. Can you elaborate on the creation of game and the thoughts of the dev team with what you are expecting to see.

Will the minions have animations relating to attacks, spell casting, etc? I am hoping that we don't see minions bumping each other and that being the attack.

With this being something that started as a joke, but due to support is being added to the gamespace, does the dev team have any forward thoughts on where this game will go moving forward?

- Minion vs minion on the open world map
- Each City-State having an arena
- One on one minion fights for MGP at the Gold Saucer Event Area between GATES?
- GC's holding in company minion on minion battles

there are a few minions that we have that are summoned wild cards in game (City-state leaders, etc), will we be able to have any control over who we would summon.

One is a gladiator, one is a gun weilder, and one is more of a mage.

How is Odin going to work in fightspace. Thinking back to FFVII, he had two attacks:

- a rush through instant kill
- a lance attack

what will we see out of odin?

No doubt there's going to be tournaments. What rewards will the tournaments yield? Exclusive minions in the same style as Triple Triad having exclusive cards?

How much MGP does it cost to compete against other players / NPCs, and how much will the winner of a match be rewarded with?

Much like Triple Triad's game board furnishing item, will we get a furnishing item that allows us to hold matches at our Free Company / Personal Houses?

Will the Minions attacks have unique icons?

Will oddball "utility" minions like Wind-up Sun and Plush Cushion have any use in the game?

Will there be new mounts/minions added to the gold saucer?

Are players going to be limited once again with this new content much the same way players are with decks in Triple Triad being limited by their total collection?

Are there any plans to add unique prizes for victories in LoV? Or will it just yield MGP like other activities?

Related to this, working under the assumption matches do yield nothing but MGP, how is the MGP Payout for LoV matches calculated? Will it be more than other activities like Triple Triad, even after the planned increase to general payouts, or will it be comparable to it?

Will there be any real incentive to do Lord of Verminion other than the increase GP, and it being something to do? Such as actual combat gear or item rewards/buyouts instead of usual GP glamour items.

Regarding the minions obtainable only in the Optional Item Store (And this can also include previous event-exclusive minions), can we expect these minions to have similar, if not exact, functionality when compared to a minion obtainable in the game? I want to ensure the Optional Item store stays away from "Pay to Win".

Since the title of the mini game is a pun on lord of Vermillion, Should expect a red-orange shade to be the color for any rewards (be it glamour, a minion itself, furniture or just dye)?

Likewise will the color Vermillion also be present the UI while in this mini game

Finally will the NPC introducing you tot he minigame be wearing the Vermillion armor?

I know the devs already tested this. From each devs what are there favorite minion and why they enjoy it?

I know I alluded to this in a previous question about expansion of LoV:

With Triad being able to be played in various open world locations throughout 2.0 and 3.0 world maps

Will LoV be playable the same way or on a different scale? To me it could work like a Pokemon or Yo-Gi-Uh style battle in the open world.

Since minions will get attack and healing animations is it possible to make a puppet master class with minions?

Is this the best thing ever?

Sort of on topic, but not also. The first thing I bought in this game was my Mammet, and I love the fact you can get a version for each city-state. So to the question.

Will some of the awards for this possibly include new Mammets? Maybe an Ishgardian one? Or an Imperial one? Or Ala Mhigan even?

I would hope long term players will be rewarded through their minions, for example the Cait Sith Doll being a 1.0 collector's edition minion having a more powerful attack than some minion you can easily acquire in game. Also the longer term Veteran Reward minions (Wind up Goblin, Gilgamesh, Nanamo) being some of the stronger minions as well. Is that the case? If not, how will attributes be determined for these types of minions?

Will players experience a higher drop rate for minions in previous dungeons, primarily the Crystal Tower raids?

With the merchminions, that might cause the same pay-to-win issues that another user brought up with the Cash shop minions. So I'd limit it to the vet rewards best.

On topic, would the rarity of the minion be a factor in its power, would say a Baby Opo-Opo or Galekitty be stronger than the Wind Up Airship or Wind up Alphnaud for example?

Would the Minions be essentially Blue Mages? To be more specific, would they or the player have the ability to have them learn attacks form monsters or the players leveled jobs to use along with their unique skills?

will the primals be getting a minion drop as well? but extreme mode only of course, gotta make players work for that minion. but also off topic question, which one is yoshida's favorite minion?

Will there be an item like the Triple Triad Board so players can play in their homes?

Will the tournament format for Lords of Verminion be extended to Triple Triad? It's disheartening to see win trading accounts with 0 wins and 40 losses place much higher than players who legitimately played the tournament.
