Oh, of course. Popping bottles over fools who: 1)get baited to my team 2) get lured away from their team 3)thought they could 1v1 me.
Its pretty funny, you have to mark them after as well because you know they'll stalk you the rest of the game.
And when it happens to me, they are most definitely getting marked, and will be dead before the match ends.
I have had players jump stomp on me. It is all good. They need special PvP emotes to do in there.
It doesn't bother me to see it, but I don't understand it. It doesn't really make sense in a game where the character classes are so unbalanced that you can't really attribute a kill to "skill" so much as just being well matched against the job you killed... especially in a 72 man cluster F***. Congratulations on getting the last hit, I guess? Some people need to feel good about such things, I suppose. Personally, I'd rather keep the killstreak going.
I put all my PVP points into Teabag skill.
A WAR did it to me once already in Seize after a 3v1- don't really see much of it though, but I generally don't die often.
For him though, I hope it was worth it, because I made sure to mark whoever was healing him, and then the minute his support was dead, I'd mark him. He never got away.
The only thing I would want to say to him is "I hope you enjoyed that 1/4 record, buddy! Thanks for the 15 points." Just a shame we didn't win that game. 797 points or something like that.
I have witnessed some karma kills though- some SMN dancing on top of one of our tanks after killing him and laughing, only for me to come around a corner and plunge+stun them while a MNK charged in on them and LB'd.
The most I've really done is /beckon to some people in 24 man games in an attempt to pull them away from their group for a 1v1 or 2v1.
Works great most of the time on randoms in Secure when defending our cap, but its not really viable or practical to do in 72's.
I did jump on person who keep chasing me and died by party :p It's really fun to jump on those people.
Nope I don't do it unless the enemy's extremely cocky (i.e. spawn camping us and being smug about it).
Win with grace, fall with dignity.
I laugh when it happens to me. And sometimes I'll get lucky to see the same player fall then I run over and T- bag him as well. Its all for fun... Seriously how can you get mad when pvp is so unbalanced. SMN can drop you like a bad habit while a WAR is snatching up the healer and holding him/her hostage so his gang of wannabee thugs can put a serious beating on that individual. All I am saying is just laugh and enjoy the RNGesus we call PVP.
It's always some bum after he was helped by a tank and healer. But it's funny when a lala does it
I only do it because I'm a healer and I can't healers can't fight back well in PvP (unless they're INT spec'd and whatnot).
So if some jerk goes out of there way to chase me down and harass me, only to get killed. Yeah. I'ma dance on your body. I just heal people. Leave me alone. >:c
If someone tries to spawn camp I sit on their body and light off fireworks from my inventory.
No phucks
It has happened to me twice I think. Once in a cluster**** which seemed very out of place. The other time in a smaller skirmish, a female smn killed me with the standard burst and decided to shake dat fine ass in my face. Technically not a teabag, but still...
I only teabag people who focus me all match and dont get any kills, or people who teabagged me previously, then its a new years eve party fireworks show on thier corpse and everyone is invited
done it? yeah but not that often, someone did it to me? yeah of course
acceptable? this is pvp war dude, every tactics is acceptable even better if it helps you win
For advanced pvp player 1VS1 is sacred ! Even with unbalances between class. It's a civilized art and an encounter between two respectable players. The result is less important than the fight in himself. If you almost kill a summoner with your bard you still can be very proud of this by exemple. If you kill him alone it means this summoner didn't very well know how to play so you didn't feel really satisfied with this fight. That's how you feel when you got the true pvp spirit !
Some get it, some just feel strong by "banging" a poor lonesome man.
I don't really care when people do it. Usually the "respawn" pop-up covers me so I cant even tell.
One time a BLM danced on my body... and I noticed on my map that a swarm of my team mates were coming. So I just didn't respawn in order to keep him there. He kept dancing until my friends arrived and brutally murdered him, it was nice.
There are some instances you can't help but feel obligated to taunt the opposing player. (1)Fail Ninjas that hide + sneak/trick attack but still die to me. (2) melee who die to me after failing to kill me with their lb cause they lb me at full health. (3) healers (most notably astrologians) who in a pathetic attempt to coax me into chasing them (after I decide it's not worth it to chase them and turn back will) cast aero, stella, combust and all that other garbage on me like it's doing something which in turn compels me /laugh emote at them before ignoring them and continuing on my way. Of course now that I switched from lalafell to au ra the /laugh emote isn't nearly as fun. That lalafell laugh was the perfect laugh amongst all races to taunt ppl with.
Teabagging? No. Manderville'ing? Absolutely.
There is something special about baiting half a dozen melee while in Attunement, dropping out with Celestial Opposition and a quick Blizzard II while my mages melt them, all while finishing off a most gentlemanly emote.
Not gonna lie, I've jumped up and down/emoted on a few people, usually ones that do something especially stupid or people that won't leave me the hell alone (as a healer I totally get why I'm being focused, but a Bard? Really?). Honestly, they probably don't see it any more than I do, cause the "respawn" window covers up the middle of the screen. I'm sure plenty of people have done it to me too.
Yesterday, I was healing myself and someone else as we were pulling back from a skirmish but a couple of tenacious enemies refused to peel off and chased us clear back to the node that our entire team was waiting at. They got murdered in seconds and I had a good laugh then sat and jumped up and down on one of them with my Coeurl mount till he respawned. >.>
I almost wanna /laugh at people when I kill them with Aero/Combust, but dying to an AST is embarassing enough. :3
Not gonna lie, I've manderville'ed over a few dead bodies in my time... though not specifically because I killed them. It's usually a celebratory thing for winning a match. Especially in those moments when you know you've won. The match is all but over, and you have nothing to do but sit and wait for the official notice. At that point, I make myself as visual as possible and do a jig.
Of course. I have a /sit macro for those special someones. I've made a couple "friends" this way but this goes both ways so it's a never ending humping fest.

Didn't teabag, but did something equally as douchey. lol
I was standing outside my node (with my team) after chasing off a group of storms. One storm BLM came BACK and tried to kill me, every time he attacked I just reapplied my shield (I main AST in PvP) so he never managed to move my health bar. All of us just /laughed at this BLM... He never gave up. After our node timed out, everyone rushed and killed him.
I dont do it because its a risk. Almost all teabags done to me got the perpetrator killed within seconds. They are not watching their backs :P
Dip dip potato chip Dip dip potato chip Dip dip potato chip
I've never done it, nor ever seen it happen.
If it has happened, the window counting down until you can respawn would cover it up. Sorry but your tea is enjoyed alone.
I get fever quite often and people sometimes try to solo me. Sometimes they see me at 50% health and still decide it's a good idea to come after a fever SMN with 3 aetherflows. Sometimes I'm just trying to save that guy that is being chased by those 2-3 people. In one instance 2 of those 3 even ran away once they saw me (fever SMN). Sometimes I see a stray Fever/High and go for him. In all those situations I heavenscracker on their dead bodies. It's so big so you can hardly ignore it. I also teabag sometimes but heavenscracker is my way to go.
When I'm playing Astrologian and a group of 2-4 people just fail to kill me and they won't leave me alone no matter what but they just got no chance of killing me whatsoever. While keeping myself alive, I spam heavenscracker, dance amd laugh emotes while running around them to obviously provoke them. They still don't let me alone after that. Then I just bait em to my team and gg free points.
I generally use a lot of heavenscrackers lol.
And I just remembered at Savage when Valentione event is coming, there's couple who camped at other GC and then attack mounted person till dead and they using heart prism together while standing on dead body. What a provoke
jump-stomp on them after they died.
Too bad the game doesn't have a Flag of Ownership item like WoW does or some other similar banner style item you can plant on corpses. I think it's WAY more taunting than emoting or childish teabagging. :P

I laugh my ass off when someone teabags me and I look at the score and my team is winning while their team is in deep third. Probably because so many of them are teabagging instead of playing.
I've never seen this at all in FF lol, I feel left out now!
