SCH QoL Suggestion: Fairy Wings

Didn't know where to put this but thought this might be the best place. Since Dissipation somewhat allows us to "become one" with Selene/Eos for about 30 seconds, I think for the entire duration of Dissipation we should get giant multifaceted, multicolored fairy wings. I mean, the animation for Dissipation is so dull and uninteresting, it should really show that we're pulling out all the stops for a move that basically kills a large portion of our playstyle for 30 seconds, which in some fights is a long time to be without your healing partner.

If SMN gets something for Dreadwrym Trance, sure. Its not really a QoL issue.

I'd support that.

Visuals, artistic design, aesthetics so effect the quality of ones life!

Also dreadwyrm already has a cool effect to it. When you use it a giant dragon head breathes power into you through magic fire, what more do you want.

Dissapate on the other hand has nothing. It looks like everyother spell with the added thing of our fairy doing its death throws animation. I agree something should be added to it, doesn't have to be wings to make sure smn like Rawz aren't too jealous, but maybe a animation like Dreadwyrm with a fairy avatar appearing above us blessing us with power would do nicely.

Not a bad idea actually. Something similar to DT, but with a "fairy flavor" to it.

I main Scholar. I barely touch my Summoner. This sort of aesthetic request has appeared repeatedly for Dread Wyrm trance. I wasn't being mean, I was simply saying that if you're gonna give some visual catering to one Arcanist branch, you should do it for both, but thanks for knowing my story. :)

The OP is asking for fairy wings for the DURATION not the initial animation. That's what SMN are typically asking for in these types of threads.

I would like it if it was a buff and at the end we got our fairy back.

I'm sick of Scholar's complaining and wanting buffs.
So, this makes me happy. I think that would be quite awesome to see.
Just a completely new, very fast animation where you grow wings and maybe they disintegrate once your buff wears off.

This is simultaneously the silliest and best idea ever. I would actually put Dissipation back on my bars just to have big stupid fairy wings when I wasn't doing anything important.

I actually don't know why Dissipation and Drewadwyrm Trance are skills that doesn't have some kind of aura in it since they both are buff wich you should be looking to do something at the end of it. DWT wouldn't make much difference because you need to Pain Flare right before the timer ends. But having a visual confirmation from the end of dissipation would be much better than paying attention on the buff times to summon your fairy back again.

Oh it still lives, well it would be an improvement upon the visual quality of the game moreso then actually improving gameplay itself. Once again the reason I proposed this is because of the major game changer Dissipation is. It is truly SCH's "oh ****" button and to me only used under extreme circumstances where we need aetherflows so badly we'd be willing to absorb 1/3rd of what makes us a healer in this game. SCH isn't a complete healer without our fairy, if we have to destroy that delicate balance for 30 seconds why not have Eos/Selene go out with a bang?

I am in support of a glow-based fairy wing aesthetic during dissipation, as well as some type of purple wing aesthetic for Dreadwyrm Trance.

Easy addition and would look cool, but then aesthetic additions take forever so even if they want to implement it don't expect to see it adressed for 20 patches (See: new SMN minions).

I macro the wings I got from marriage to the same button and it works for me xD.
