I really like this game.

This game has some of the best atmosphere of any game ever, the mixture of the beautiful music and visuals is outstanding.

The game is visually stunning, and the art style is so realistic unlike most games.

I could stare at it all day long. The night/day cycle is bar none.

I am a level 50 DRK and it seems to me if I had anything to do in this beautiful world it would be worth playing.

Sometimes I just fish, just to take in the atmosphere.

These are some positive thoughts laid among the cesspool of disgust people have for this game for whatever reason.

Yes it is a beautiful game and the graphics are amazing. I love the gameplay and especially Heavensward which added so much to it.

I often return to my fathers place, in the windy waves, I see his face.

I am continuously wowed by certain places and in particular parts of HW areas like Azys Lla, the attention to detail is pretty incredible how everything fits and winds together in a seemingly free and natural way, yet retains a structure and continuity wherein everything is intentionally set and planned, which is a very awesome balance to maintain. the design team did an absolutely superb job in my opinion.

This thread has all sorts of lovely scenery screenshots in it. :) I had to go back quite a few pages to find it, but it exists!

If only some people think this game like Matthew John does, not just raiding raiding raiding raiding, dps dps dps dps dps, boring boring boring dailies and so on and so on...
Yes this game has beautiful landscapes, musics and immersive environments. I find it fun just to fly around and explore the landscapes, taking screenshots, collecting (hoarding) glamours, etc.

Sometimes people can't see a work of art when it's served on a plate.

Fishing is great!

I agree, it is a fun and gorgeous game! The sunsets alone are just all kinds of feels. And when the skies are clear at night did anyone else notice the stars? /sigh :)

My favorite time and view in the game is. 5:45 - 6:00 am in the south shroud at camp Tranquil. Waiting for the Shroud soil to pop. The sun is just coming up over the mountains, with Amdapor Keep to the left up on the mountain. The way the beams of light break over the top of the mountains and the light getting brighter slowly. Such a nice view.

The game is beautiful, like every other final fantasy game I played really. In this game we often run by the same areas over again to fulfill quests for exploration convenience. I don't mind it much, but after you've seen it so many times visuals won't mean much anymore. That's why people tell you to take your time and enjoy the game, in which a lot have and now we're still waiting. Friends are nice to have right now at this point just to keep the times rolling or a little dungeon fun. Now we're waiting till December for the patch right? (Not sure)

It really is a beautiful game, which makes me all the more confused by their ambition with the 1.0 visuals. 2.0+ has much better level design (more variety, better layouts, etc.) but 1.0 was much prettier most of the time. To think they thought they could get it running on a PS3...

In any case, I can't wait to see what new areas 3.1 brings. It looks like the airship raiding content essentially replaces a dungeon as far as new/ reworked assets are concerned. I hope it's just as spectacular as everything else!

Hopefully that enjoyment of the little things in the game doesn't diminish too much as you play the game more, as appreciating it all really makes it much easier to get lost in the world of the game (in a good way).

I love this game. Sometimes we forget with all the grinding that we are in such a beautiful world. I then take my griffin and glide throught the night. I have two favourite spots, both pure beauty and epic music, you can see them in the screenshots. I also love my character and spend a lot of time at atherytes or market boards to look at others. I try to find an ugly character, but even the ugliest is pretty/handsome (except anyone that is wearing a Scylla robe >_>).
