There is glam options?
The Dreadwyrm gear looks pretty cool or maybe some of the PVp gear.

Make it less girly.
I switched from a male character to a female one, mostly because everything healer looked horrible on males. Also there's very few male glamours that don't look overly complex or have flood pants. I hate flood pants. I just want a simple, clean, masculine look.
Healer PvP gear is pretty bad on males. The Ilv110 gear is modeled after swans and lambs. And the newest PvP healer gear is the lv 1 PvE robe re-colored. Dreadwyrm is even worse. It looks like a drunk, armless, hobo used his feet to rip up pieces of fabric he found in a bucket of bleach then sew them together randomly.
The first true WHM was a male character named Minwu. And he was kinda badass too.

When I get home I'll show you a side-by-side comparison. The hat might be new, but the robe itself is not. It's an old design recolored with some extra doodads.
Edit:
I just googled it and "healer robes" for samples. There are quite a few robes that are similar to it. Here's one. I can find more when I get home, if you like.
White griffin robe(dyed black).

I was talking of the game order, FFI white mage was female.

The 'feminine' design of white mage gear
The design of the gear for white mages was not intended to have a 'feminine' look, specifically — rather, it was based on Final Fantasy I's iconic white mage, who happened to be a female character.
Yeah, when it comes down to it, many healer/caster robes all share the same handful of robe archetypes that are used over and over again and whose only difference is the color/ornaments they decide to put on it

The overabundance of effeminate healer gear is entirely responsible for my silly SCH/AST glamour. xD
Darklight gloves of Healing are just kinda freaky/cool.
To bad the white griffin set is locked behind 600 fun hours of pvp matches.
You just gotta get creative

Especially as that artwork is just a fan-made piece and is not an official rendition of how Minwu was suppossed to look. The official Square art (by Yoshitaka Amano and others)... makes him more androgynous:

I admit, when I first saw that piece of art I took Minwu for a girl based on... that feminine looking chest plate. :p But I digress...
Well I usually want to make my SCH outfit have some muscular look but I ended up make his looks FABULOUS (With wiggle duck tail)

And this is my old 50 healer outfit

I didn't think there was any reason to assume the FF1 White Mage was a female. When I played the game way back when on the NES, I though it was a guy. I didn't play any of the various remakes of it though, so perhaps that was just a function of the amazing NES graphics. ;)
They really need to start making more short/ half robes. Why design such ornate leg, arms, feet pieces when it's just going to be covered by a robe? Seems like a waste to me.
I had such high hopes that with the introduction of arachne, coil, bogatyr healer/caster sets was an indicator that there'll be more gear with similar designs for expansion. Too bad most gear is pretty much long robes
It was actually a samus, but everyone already suspected the whm being female. Also confirmed by what i posted 2 pages ago

White Mage was female, but wasn't the Cleric upgrade male?
Not that it really mattered because they were 8-bit sprites and nameless because you were supposed to name your party what you wanted (like a good RPG) - so technically all the characters were both male and female at the same time, until the player assigned them a name and a gender. Schrodinger's Gender.
try the company tabard. There are plenty of boots out there
I chose to glam it to swimwear from that moonfire faerie event. Now I feel sexy and fabulous, lol.
The Snow jacket from the Lightning Strikes event looks pretty good as a healer robe if you've got that. I use that with leather gloves, boots and an eye patch.
I think the opposite should happen and all the jobs' gear should look feminine. :D
The White Mage in FF1 was pretty male looking

Really?
Cause all I see there is a 1970s Cylon with a McDonald's wig on in a ghost costume for Halloween.
Or it could be an Irish Rastafari trying to infiltrate the Vatican.
Or Annie has grown up and this is her wedding outfit.
...
8-Bit graphics are a bit like 'Modern Art' - you kind of see whatever you last smoked makes you think of... O.o
What's wrong with showing a little femininity? I'm a guy IRL but I am not 100% masculine. I don't think anyone is.
Women are not 100% feminine either. In fact in todays society it's encouraged for them to be tomboys. I wish us guys would stop trying to pretent to be ultra macho.
I don't see how asking for more variety in healer gear types a bad thing. A few mor outfits like the SCH Eso and BLM AF sets please!
I couldn't agree more. The new summoner and WHM gear looks very off on male characters. No armor set should be designed strictly for one gender over the other as MMO's have to accommodate both genders. A way around this could be to make simple changes to the male gear in order for it to appear more masculine. For example, the summoner gear didn't have to have that one shoulder open on the male it could have been covered. Also on certain bulky armors, it wouldn't hurt to have it a little more form fitting so certain female models don't look like they're swimming in it (ex: miqote or humans in Noct gear). SE did a good job with the original AF's accomodating male/female differences. Seems like now they're just lazy.
