The way to fix PLD is this [all devs and mods please read this isent a dps request]

first of all plds are the mitigation tank as SE says so should do less dps than others.

But then we see darks superior dps and magic defense and pre much same styled CD's making it far superior to take end game Alexander Savage.

First give plds a slightly higher magic defense as darks have and yes this is a 100% reasonable request as SE have said them selves pld is king of mitigation the safer tank.

First make the block rate higher like it used to be.

Then powers to fix,

Shelton make it work on magic tank busters.

Sword oath remove the 50 pot auto attack replace with a counter styled attack that procs off block for full auto attack damage and procs of parry too for 50 potency kind of like current sword oath.

Make clemency dependent on oath if sword make it only 50% as good as now and cast time 1.5 secs. in shield oath make it same potency as currently is but make it uninterruptable and cast time 2 secs keep mp cost halved from what it is currently.

cover lower cd to 30 secs cause many people don't bother with cover but if your a focused tanker it would help a lot, anyway but its useful especially if you see someone with red lag simple by name and aoe is happening.

and lastly another issue adjust the passive threat gen of all pld attacks to allow it to be as effective tank as the dark and war.

As I mentioned this is keeping to SEs desired concept of defensive tank so please look into it.

I'm sure the developers will certainly take these totally unique suggestions to heart since you told them to in your title.

This totally warranted a new thread. You did it, friend. You saved PLD.

PLD is the king of migration after all. We are professional migrators. 3.0 began the great PLD migration to becoming DRKs. :P

3.1 we can hope for balance like atm kings of migration due to plds state atm leaves the supposed "kings" to the side...

fixed, well anyway do you all agree with what I stated at least partially in the idea.

They made fun of you because it's Mitigation, not migration, which is another word in itself.

And although My Main is/was PLD, I don't like to feel 'superior' to any other jobs. Every Job is doing their part, evenly.

They will eventually balance it out once the DEVs will come back from their migration, in 2017.

Full time cover...oh wait. Really idk. But luckily not my idea.

Not good changes. Increasing enmity is fine but everything else is much too overpowered or a nerf in the case of Sword Oath. For the shieldtron change, that one is alright if you nerf the skill in some way. 30 seconds is too on demand if it can block tank busters, so you would have to increase the cd, remove the mana restore, etc.

Real paladin fix is make a new trait for WAR and DRKs called river of tears. If a PLD is not in the party then they loose 50% of their dps right off the rip.

Next fix is to have hallowed ground duration made to say 14m long that way we mitigate everything like supposed to and can focus on duh deeps!

Next Sheltron should absorb magical damage and also reflect it back to the mob cause we duh holy Knights bruh. Even tho we just guards for the sultana we be holy!

Next sword oath needs to add 1000 potency to all attacks so we on par with the warriors who get hardly any mitigation just hp buffs (as long as river of tears isn't active of course, we wouldn't not want a PLD in a group now).

SE if you do all of this all of the crying about the PLD class can stop and we can move on to other important things!

where's my trait from 2.0 that if you double stack paladin you get a tsunami of salt that deals damage equivalent for the 50% of the boss HP?

You all talk about pld being the former "king" of tanks but that hasn't been true since they buffed the old 2.0 warrior. It's a little late to complain about it now when pld's walked around like they where the best choice for any tank job pre 3.0. All they've been good for it mitigation during progression because it's so mind numbing lyrics easy and being left behind when content could be solo tanked.
